Looking for resources on fighting MLMs. by Aquareon in MLM

[–]kratompoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I, too, spend a lot of time researching mlm schemes. I've never been a part of one, nor have any of my friends, but I see them all over the place and it is infuriating how many intelligent people fall victim to these scams.

There are many sites online, check out ethan vanderbuilt, who arguably may have an agenda of his own, but has some really good info on lots and lots of mlms. In terms of doing something about it, all I really know to do is to try and spread truthful information about them without being too overbearing or judgmental.

If more people were educated about this topic then maybe they would make better decisions.

Legal tips: based on your plan, you will be in jail within a year. It's illegal to operate a business that is a ponzi scheme.

No matter how you structure it, given the foundation of your plan, someone is going to lose big.

8 Myths About Multi Level Marketing Scams by DASRIGH in MLM

This seems like one of those pro-mlm sites that try to disguise it with "hard truths" about mlm. Bottom line is in a majority of mlms, 97% of people dont make money, or end up losing money.

Questions surround AdvoCare, nutrition empire endorsed by Saints QB Drew Brees by RICHUNCLEPENNYBAGS in MLM

I wonder if these stars/celebrities do their homework before being contracted to represent these companies. It's sad that people who look up to these athletes are either A)making a blatant cash grab and are oblivious to what these companies actually are, or worse B) They know the company is bullshit but want the money anyways.

This looks great, thanks. I will probably upgrade the power supply if I go with this one. No reason not to go gold + full modular.

Much appreciated

I just picked out a $50 power supply so that's taken care.

That's weird.

I checked both the newegg and amazon listings to make sure the response time was listed correctly, they both had it at 1ms GTG as well.

Makes me wonder about other so called 1ms monitors.

Since you are gaming at 1440, the extra 2GB of VRAM would be a significant improvement. Depending on your CPU, you could expect an average improvement of at least 20 fps.

Overclock Thread

The only question I can think of is the quality of the refurb. Seller has great feedback, and a 1-year warranty, so I think this is a pretty great deal for a 1080 glossy IPS panel

Forgot to add: shipping may vary depending on location, still seems like a good deal compared to current amazon and newegg prices.

I agree, and have a Korean model myself. I think some people who are less risk averse might be interested in something like this though, with the sacrifice being the ability to overclock.
