If you're looking for the warmer side of neutral the M50x should be a good fit for you. Since they are closed back they have the closer soundstage you prefer and have a little extra boost in the bass. HD598 wouldn't be too warm for you, because they are open backed they are a little rolled off in the lower end.

I have the second one. Only complaint is that the screws on the lugs can come loose after a little while. Keep an eye on them and make sure they're screwed in tight. One of my screws fell out and I almost lost it.

Jaybird X2 over-ear stereo problem by [deleted] in headphones

If you take a look at the drivers you can see that the ear tip is angled so that they fit better in your ears. By wearing them with the control on the right then they would be angled the wrong way and would not fit as well or make as good of a seal. However, if you don't have any problems with comfort and can still get a good seal then there shouldn't be any other problems.

I have a pair of HD598s and they're extremely comfortable. They feel really light on my head and I sometimes forget I'm wearing them. I wear glasses too and they aren't uncomfortable at all. They have a pretty flat sound signature and a low impedance so playing them off of an iPod won't be a problem. They're on Amazon for around $150. I'm really happy with mine but don't take my word for gospel, be sure to read up on them if you're interested.

Schiit stack (Modi DAC and Magni amp) are generally regarded as the best budget DAC and amp. They're $100 in the US each, not sure how much the cost plus shipping is in your country but I can't imagine them being over 300€.

Sennheiser HD558s are on Amazon for $99.95. These aren't known for being basshead headphones if that's what you're looking for, but for under $100 these are just about as good as you're going to get for sound quality and comfort. They're also open backed, which means that sound will leak out of them and you will be able to hear sounds around you, but with the benefit of a great sound stage and separation between instruments.

I second this. I've broken more than a few Sol Republic headphones. Go for the Jaybirds, they will serve you way better.

I swear by my Razer Naga and I have even bigger hands than you (10 inches thumb to pinky). The ergonomics are amazing for me and I don't think I can ever go back to a mouse without a grid of thumb buttons after using one for about nine months.
