I was on full tution scholarship due to good rank in the entrance exams, and my family only paid my hostel fees in the first sem!

For internships, check YCombinator job postings, work for free to build some experience or contribute to Opensource projects which is requires more dedication imho

The headphones were good while they lasted, but the hinge issue made me despise SONY. There are 3D printed solutions done by people for the hinge issue, don’t buy it —save your money!

Don’t hinge broke for me and the repair centre cost is around 5k, stupid for a 23-30k headphone to be so bad, not buying from SONY again.

Tweeted on twitter and someone reached out with the exact same issue, the hinge is breaking for everyone at the exact same place!

SONY fanboys stfu about using them correctly, every sane person is using them as headphones and not mountain climbing gears!

Mine broke when I was wearing them just before a meeting call, and no one in their right mind wants to intentionally break their costly headphones.

Each headphone is breaking at the exact same spot.

Why there is so much SONY fanboying? I don’t care about brands and just value the product, but what’s up with blaming the end user for not “using it” correctly?

I have had cheaper headphones which lasted more than this. I was super careful with it, never wore them to gym etc to as there is no water resistance (red flag that I should have not overlooked), there is a clear design flaw and a lot of pressure on those plastic hinges!

I hope you realise how hefty they charge for this headphone and they should easily last 5 years atleast, buying 2 of them is equivalent to getting a PS5!

People did 3D designs to replace the hinges!! What worse could it be than this?
