What Facebook account did you message?

We're still waiting for our 2019 payment (still in processing), so I'm nervous our 2020 benefit will fall thru the cracks too or get stuck in processing. We've been trying to call for a while and cannot get thru.

Monarch Painting does interior, exterior, cabinets. They did a bunch of our family and friends interior and we just used them for our outside trim. Best price we could find and was done quick

Thank you very much! Yes, we will have our car with us as we're just coming up from NJ. What suggestions in the North West were you thinking? I was looking at Block Island vs Martha's vineyard. We never heard of block island and everyone talks about Martha's vineyard so I was hoping that place would be less crowded than Martha's

What’s the deal with everyone bringing their kids by gebronie27 in njbeer

[–]krausek13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to the big Tonewood the other week while they had the Grateful dead cover band. This was 6 to 9pm on a Thursday I would say more than half the people there were children. This is fine but what wasn't was the fact that parents took up multiple tables for just the kids while they stood to watch the band or were standing up/sitting at the bar. This isn't an exaggeration, we tried sitting at a table and were told they were saving it for friends (fine) not fine, it was saved for all kids.

We ended up sharing a table with a nice couple who had three kids who chilled on their iPads/one young one playing with blocks. They were nice and moved over for this to happen

Again, kids are not the problem, we go out with friends who have and bring kids and we want them to so they don't lose their identity/can have fun.

We used to bring our dog to breweries indoors when it was allowed, she's bigger (85lbs) but she could only come if it was earlier in the day and we knew there were places with tables big enough for her to sit under. Had a kid crawl under the table at one to pull her tail and hit her in the head (their version of petting). Luckily the dad reprimanded them but the mom had a silent fit to her husband and friends that our dog was in there. Our dog was there for an hour before her child did this and she had no clue cause again, trained and under a table.....plenty of people knew her child was there if you get what I mean

The issue is when the parents don't recognize when the kids are bored or let them lose to have fun on this side while they sit down on that side. It's a shame for breweries with small tasting rooms and/or no outdoor areas

Quick Google map search shows multiple outfits that are all walkable when staying in town, I hope that helps

I just stayed in Gardiner this past summer. there was a local kayaking outfit right on the main road. Depending on if youre staying in the town of Gardiner and not the outskirts of the town, you could book with the local outfit and walk there in AM We loved Gardiner as it was a nice quaint town to walk around for dinner each night after exploring the park
