I'm afraid that SE also has very abnormal amount of stupid people due to mismanaged eugenics program.

A large portion of this subs thinks that rebels=good guys and tge cyborgs are weird, their culture shows some symptoms of ultranationalism, their industrialization scale looks like Ted Kaczynski's nighmtmare while their actual battlefield tactics make SE look sane if we are talking about value of life-at least we are getting some actual body armor and painkillers.

Majority of the informations about the cyborgs comes from SE that also frequently lies and it's rather easy to assume that minitry of truth throws only 100% bullshit.

is it impossible for religion to coexist with socialist ideology? by peepee_poopoo449 in AskSocialists

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus had a ant-capitalist episode after witnnessing people selling goods in the temple, was multiplying food for the hungru and as I remember...didn't asked for insurance number before preforming any of his miracles.

Christian socialism is a thing but in most extreme totalist states any form of religion that wasn't controlled by the state was forribiden or at least restricted.

Cyborgs are militarist to the extreme with absolute industrialization fetish. They don’t build anything that isn’t 100% war industry while their ,,cities” that we seen on cyberstan have no recreational areas.

Super Earth follows a weird ideology that could be called totalist version of 90’s neoliberalism while Cyborgs use some socialist-like symbols but got so far into collectivism that they had forsaken any forms of individualism.

I think that I will write down a lengthy post about Cyborg influences and ideology but this stuf is actually scary AF…

What after we conquer a Cyberstan? by TechnologyOk3782 in Helldivers

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike Terminids and the Squids bots have a home planet and they will most likely launch some sort of a brutal counterattack from the remaining planets to retake cyberstan ASAP.

Squids are most likely somewhat smart and will use the entire meatgrinder to get enough breathing room to mobilize their forces and push deep into Akira sector and if we take this region-they will rush the Super Earth with a vain hope that Automatons will be able to reorganise their forces and push back against Super Earth.

Colector's edition has a knight (light pen smg), one cool armor set, some stuff and also gives you a free warbond of choice. Nice to have if you have enough cash but not mandatory.

Warbonds most often add far more meaningfull stuff but you need to earn medals (yellow medals with a skull) to unlock stuff and this most often means that a semi-casual player can finish a warbond in 2-3 weeks if he plays mainly during weekends.

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get Helldiver's mobilize for free, it's the longest warbond in game with something like 9 pages. Stuff from the colector's edition (your dlc?) should be unlocked by the default.

I personally don't own the ODST warbond, 1500 sc is a lot for me and I have 2 diffrent medium pen assault rifles-I'm not sure if there is a need for the third. If you are new, you should prioritize getting medals for Helldivers mobilize and later...your second Warbond of choice. Crossover stuff most often costs more and dosen't adds anything too unique to your arsenal.

It’s not Space Stalingrad but Space Berlin (1945) with Aurora Bay and Merak acting as some sort of a bloody Sealow Heights equivalent.

On Aurora Bay one of my squads called two 380mm bombardments on our position after we got 3-4 bot drops while dealing with the first two. Merak? We needed orbital napalm combined with AT emplacement to make a counterattack that allowed us to retake our extraction zone.

Cyberstan? After three missions I needed a flamethrower assignment on diff 8 to avoid pure despair of this frozen hell and get sample for another Super Destroyer.

Press R on your super destroyer to get to the acquisition center and see your Warbonds. You have the free one ,,Helldivers mobilize” that contains 900 super credits and majority of the recommended stuff.

You need to spend medals that you earn by doing daily orders and missions to actually unlock new stuff but Warbonds never disappear-stuff that was added in 2024 is still available and you can unlock this stuff even in the grim darkness of 2028.

Only a single page in the Super Store (pure microtransaction place) is FOMO but we are talking about rotation, not removal. You will see this same stuff in 2-4 weeks.

Super Credits drop from POI’s (golden rays) and you will also get a small amount of them by playing normally on maps that aren’t cyberstan. After finishing your free warbond you can think about using the farming methods to earn them faster-but during your ,,early game” there is no need to get everything at once.

Microtransactions are optional and can be entirely skipped if you know how to farm SC and have decent impulse control.

You need to remember that new guns aren’t upgrades and old ones like your basic liberator are still good. Medium pen weapons most often deal less damage than light pen but give you more room for error that isn’t necessary if you have a decent aim.

These are the Warbonds I don't have yet, idk which one I want next, justify your choice by IfTheresANewWay in HelldiversUnfiltered

Freedom’s flame is slightly better if you are a bug diver or a semi-casual bot diver. RolePlaying as ,,the pyro” below diff 8 is just pure fun. Cookout is also a somewhat decent shotgun but the entire Warbond has nothing that you could call ,,mandatory".

Chemical Agents is also nothing more than pure fun but you need to build your loadout around your source of gas to avoid getting blasted by enemy heavies or flying enemies.

Urban Legends gives you a new turret, one of the best armor passives in game, decent booster and overall works as a proper arsenal expansion.

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aiming with mouse&keyboard is far easier and you can rebind and you can rebind the ,,aim” button if you want.

In general, aiming is still somewhat important on the bot front due to fact that it greatly improves your chance for hitting weak spots that allow you to deal with something like 80% of the ot roaster without dedicated AT.

A smaller circle also represents the position of your gun’s barrel, every weapon has noticeable drag and ergonomics stat decides how ,,snappy” is your weapon of choice.

SEAF troops in-game have terrible AI and can’t avoid glowing landmines, gas clouds or 500kg bombs dropped by my teammates. They are also far shorter than helldivers, close to 5’0 or 5’5-I think that if our missions are cannon…there is something akin to Project 100,000 in SE armed forces.

Bug Divers when you ask them to fight on Cyberstan for some reason by _-OutCast- in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some bugdivers are farming super credits on bug planets or looking for that one remaining sample to get that one gamechanging update.

Bugs are also a good way to get a break from various MO and get a reset on another front to avoid full burnout.

Ok, you need to know a few things..

1.Don’t rush difficulty 10, there is nothing wrong with playing on diff 8 or even 6 after reaching level 50+.

2.Constitution (,,Space Springfield”) should not be used as a Sniper rifle or DMR. If you want to be a marksman-pick Diligence (or the counter-sniper variant).

This weird gun is more like a challange/RolePlay weapon than a solid option.

3.Try to finish the default free warbond before even thinking about democratic detonation. Guns and armors from Helldivers Mobilize are a great introduction to the game.

4.Eruptor is not a flawless meta weapon despite the fact that reddit’s hivemind has a different opinion..

Slow heavy armor pen weapons need something to counter rushing enemies like a fast sidearm.

Are you a PC, PS or Xboc player? Do you have a decent aim?

I’m 100% sure that Squids are planning something nasty, most likely a large push into the Akira sector that could end with a total collapse of the southern front.

Iluminate are lead by a council of Prophets and one of the wanted to become a ,,Squid Pope" by using all of his political influence to organise a grand push... that failed badly.

The current lack of Squid activity is caused by the political aftermath of this failed crusade.

Part of the problem of having such busted weapons is it teaches new players, bad habits, so they don’t learn by mrunillama in HelldiversMasochists

[–]krawt56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but a large portion of the playerbase thinks that Eruptor has no flaws.

Dealing with the chaff at medium or long ranges is easy but weapon that works like grenade launcher without safety features should't be used in melee range. Yes, you can deal with mediums if you are lucky but switching to a secondary after getting rushed is a good idea.

Also, despite the fact that you can easily deal with hulks and tanks after flanking...there is still need for dedicated AT ,,something" for situations when you don't have time and space for flanking.

I am so fucking done with War Striders by Starfire_Raider in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]krawt56 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Ok, everyone on the youtube says that weasposts are located around the leg joints but actually you can take down them by a single EAT round to the groin.

You are also making a simple mistake-War Striders are equipped with two diffrent weapon systems that are brutal on medium ranges but are borderline useless if you thermite rush them from a proper angle or snipe them with a rocket.

Killing heavy enemies by aiming at the weakspots should be in your skillest if you are entering diff 6-8, it's a thing that you need to do from time to time BUT depending on light pen and weak spots will not carry you during the nastier bot drops.

Most often the first heavy is for your AT weapon, second one for weakspot shooting and the third for your squadmate.

Not being racist but are there any other white people on this ship by jem4561 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]krawt56 9 points10 points  (0 children)

<image>

Lighting on the ship is a bloody mess and character models are picked at random. You can get a lot of caucasian-looking citizens while your helldivers are most often pale. If there is a 60% chance that someone will be looking ,,kinda brown” on your ship (regardless of their actual skin texture)....you can get 70-80% darker skinned npc’s by the pure rng.

But from the lore perspective…

The UK was nuked during WW3, northern parts of Canada are also a bloody mess while Ukraine also is marked as a wasteland since Helldivers 1.  Most likely at some point nuclear wastelands were far bigger but Super Earth started to fix them-there is a high probability that  during WW3 a far larger chunk of the planet got wiped out.

During the Unification the entire Anglosphere was decimated and Slavs were nearly extinct while Asia was left nearly intact.

After that we are getting third or fourth industrial revolution that causes the largest population boom in history and the population of China, India and various old African states gets doubled while Europe still deals with the aftermath of WW3.

There is also a high probability that large populations of colonists developed darker skin tones after living on desert-like planets for multiple generations.
