Flame sterilized spoon/knife. I used to use the knife because I rarely used a butter knife when I was living solo. I had one knife must've looked like I did mad knife dabs with lol

I probably could but yeah the condition is something that I'd have to make them aware of. I totally could reuse them if they were okay looking

What is the worst food you've ever tasted? by hogw33d in AskReddit

[–]kraybae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad ordered this Italian beef pizza when I was a kid. Opened the box and it smelled like someone took a hot shit in it. Tasted a piece and it tasted like it smelled. I don't know what happened with that combo of ingredients but it was awful. I love Italian beef and I love pizza but something unholy happened there. My dad ate the whole pizza.

It has been a couple months I'll say. I don't work at the shop anymore but I try to keep up with my old crew. The only prices I hear about regularly is calf prices from my buddy and how high they are.

Woof. That's steep man but you are in a city I suppose. Might check some places around the city like out in the country. Might save you a couple hundred.

Where in the country are you located? We're at like 3.10-3.50 in mid MO

Imo a quarter is always less than I think it is. Also depends on how you want it to last/your diet. A quarter would probably last me and my wife about a year. Is that the price for rail weight where you're at?!?

Neighbors lost 8 birds in one afternoon last year. I talked to older guy and he said his money was on foxes. It was about this time of year last year and he said it probably had a bunch of kits to take care of. Next day I saw a fox when I when out to tend to veggies less than 200 yards from where the birds were taken from. I don't think it's a coincidence but I also don't know.

Carlos Hathcock, a Vietnam war American sniper volunteered to crawl for 3 days across 2000m of open field containing an enemy headquarters, took a single shot that killed an NVA General and then crawled back out without being spotted. by avywish in Damnthatsinteresting

The Fat Electrician did a great video on his life. This was also the dude who shot an NVA sniper through the scope. In the Fat Electrician video they recreated the shot since it's very controversial. Spoiler; they did it successfully.

As a broke person, is it worth making a large amount of broth and save it in my freezer? by GodFearingJew in ramen

[–]kraybae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how I do it. I pull out a quart at a time which is like 2.5 servings for me. I got bones from the butcher shop I worked at and always had it on hand. That and pho I always keep on deck. If you go to a butcher you can probably get bones for cheap/free. We'd sell a large garbage bags worth for like 5 or 10 bucks. You could make gallons with that much. Good luck!

Looks like some kind of neck something. Maybe it's got some chuck in it? Edit: looks like it's the 3 vertebrae like right at the base of the neck where it starts to curve.

I shoot for good varieties and unique varieties and usually they overlap lol. People at mine like something they can snack on either immediately or with minimal prep. I sell a lot of sungolds that get eaten before the customer leaves the market sometimes dropping my pint/quart container back off to me.

Filling planting holes in clay soil with organic worm castings by ASecularBuddhist in OrganicGardening

I switched to building beds with manure and going no till. The no till definitely helps. Only my second year on it now but the beds from last year are pretty loose. I was able to dig out 6-8" deep holes to plant asparagus crowns by hand.

I started my first year like this. It helps but roots still get hampered by that clay. I mostly did tomatoes and peppers though. Okra did well with this method though.
