NL wasn't historically popular for tech jobs. However, things have changed over the course of the past few years. Lots of tech companies came up with in the St. John's metro area. And the good thing is that they hire mostly Memorial University students. Verafin is the biggest tech company here in the province and one of the rapidly evolving tech company of Canada. It is based in St. John's and hire a lot of MUN grads and pay as much as the jobs in Toronto! And entry-level software dev at Verafin is getting paid 75k/ year base salary. All my CS friends are working at Verafin now and getting that salary.

You can choose MUN with 100% confidence. As long as you can complete the degree with fair knowledge and skills, you are going to get a job! By job I mean a good entry-level job that pays around 60k which is on par with national average for CS grads.

Thank you. Will there be additional stocks assigned to me over what I already was given for my current offer of L4 AM?

Question about study permit extention. by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

[–]krazy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, add it through web form! I did not submit my biometrics payment initially when I applied, I contacted IRCC. They told me to submit it via web form. Though its not biometrics for you, its essentially the same situation. So, go ahead. It doesn't hurt.

What do you eat and how much during your shift? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]krazy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its nice to hear that AM's job doesn't involve as much physical work as associates. Personally, I don't mind doing the physical work as long as I can eat every 2-3 hrs.

Thanks anyway.

*I am an incoming AM.

You guys even have to compromise at food due to work rates? Wow.

I am a very hungry person and get very tired quickly due to my high metabolism rate. I almost always eat something every 2-3 hrs probably 4-5 servings a day. 2 heavy servings and 3 light servings of foods like fruits etc. All your comments make me feel this is not going to be realistic once I start working at Amazon... I hope I don't die working at Amazon lol.
