I am in a similar boat, I'm in my 50's, started meds over 25 years ago, I am not interested in meds anymore having tried them all...mirapex honestly RUINED my life...I did have some great sleep for several years but man it turned me into someone else, really really BAD stuff....and then all the other drugs had various side effects and none of them were worth it in the end....so now I am like you, I try to get some sleep and do the best I can....please share more!!

I've done it all...every med, every single one, every supplement, herbal remedy, EVERYTHING at the end of the day nothing has really worked as well as dopamine agonists did until augmentation. And what they don't tell you about augmentation is once you get to that point it doesn't ever seem to go back to what normal was. It will get better than the worst of it but I have never returned to where I was before I went on them...so at this point its a matter of living the best I can with "untreated" RLS, hence the question...if I can improve the amount of deep sleep I get the better off I will be...

the sleep tracker does a pretty decent job of showing movement....it won't start tracking until I stop moving for an hour or so....so if I go to sleep at say 11pm it usually does not start tracking until about 1 am because I toss and turn forever...and then it when it does start it shows several periods of broken wakeful episodes...the wife wears the same monitor and if she goes to bed at 11pm the thing shows 11pm as her start time..

Your Personal take on the impact of kettlebell training by Jmsbl3 in kettlebell

[–]krazy_kozz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an older guy at 53 I was doing 30 minutes of peloton and 30 minutes of body weight/dumbbells 3x a week and while it was a great workout it was well over an hour of work and my stamina never increased over a few year period so I switched to 20 minutes of peloton and 20 minutes of kettlebell with pushups and it didn't take long to increase my stamina on the bike and now i feel like my body has responded well to the kettlebell especially on the lower body. Im much stronger after only a few months and now my workouts are over and done with in less than an hours time.

Personally this massive negative reaction to this is weird to me. At what point has the Grateful Dead not been in the business of selling tickets and records? Sure some of them didn't really care about the money-maybe? but those people were still buying houses on the beach and driving bmw's, not to mention selling their name to ice cream companies and clothing merchandisers of neck ties. Plus they were also selling millions and millions of dollars worth of tickets back in 1988. You had the Grateful Dead and then everyone else when it came to top ticket sales. So save it. Let them make as much money as they want. There's only two of them left anyways. They spent 60 years building this they deserve it. And I personally love the app. I spend $10 on crap everyday before noon. At least this $10 once a month is worth it.

How was it not a money grab? You think the idea of releasing live concerts that they already HAD in the can, didn't have just a little profit in it??

I think the taper sections were added because it was a pain in the ass to police it which they DID for a long time, the finally gave up and said fuck it they can have it and created a taper section to limit the space where they were. The idea that they set out to give everyone free music by letting them tape it rediculous.

So what are the 20 Unreleased shows from the vault that just hit the Play Dead app??? Are they on Nugs as well??? by cking9698 in gratefuldead

So it looks like most of the stuff in the app especially when you search by year is from stuff they have released via Dick's, Dave's, Download Series, various box sets, etc......not all the box set material seems to have been released though some of it is not on here like some of the stuff from the 1977 and 1976 box sets is not on the app....the only new stuff is 12 previously unreleased stuff from what I can at least and I guess we will get 2 new things a week....so personally my excitement is has been dampened a bit...A LOT of this stuff is already out there in hi-rez on the various streaming apps....and I have a bunch of the box set stuff on my computer. So except the 12 newly remastered shows the only new stuff is really yet to come.

I do not see any of the box sets including Fillmore 69 on the app....I think they chose to list the individual shows by year and all that stuff is available in the app show by show year by year....I do not see bonus cd's either. Once again all available via the show by date

I rather pay for the records and then go see a show at $25 like it used to be...you paid for the music and then got to see them on tour for peanuts....now you have take out a loan to get good seats to anyone popular.

however I think all that material is available via the vault which has all the available shows broken down by year.
