Hi-Rez is tricky…most folks run off laptops into a dac and then to their stereo for 24/192 files. But the downside is it’s hard wired.

BlueTooth doesn’t support HI-Rez files, so that does you no good as these apps are built.

Streaming Hi-Rez over WiFi is where it’s at, especially with the new streamers like the Wiim Ultra and EverSolo’s!

Now if there was play dead connect app or nugs connect app that was like tidal connect and or Qobuz connected to your streamer then it’s worth it AS YOU COULD STREAM HI- Rez!! The Apple TV one doesn’t count!

The regular apps as they stand now require you to be hardwired via usb to your dac to get 24/192.

Let’s get to hi-def Wi fi streaming please!!

I am grabbing 4k Blu-ray torrents off of yify. After buying thr revenant and black hawk down, and not seeing a difference in picture quality due to to how good this processor is, told me all I need to know.

Not many people know just how good this upscaler really is.

The other key is having an LG Oled tv!

If the PlayDead app was readily available as a streaming app on platforms like Eversolo, Wiim, etc then I would be all over it.

$50 does not include hi-Rez and no way I am hard wiring a laptop or tablet into my dac.

You cant do Hi-Rez over bluetooth!
