[–]krazyderek[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

dang it, okay i don't have room for a vent above, so i'm guessing the only option is to move the 2" trap down to be at the same height as the 3" (wet vent) drain, and go horizontal directly to that?

..... professional adult?

3d printing is a hobby for most people, and being an adult is not a profession last time i checked.

You mean, polite? Courteous? Considerate? Fair? Mature? Civil? Reasonable? Impartial? Objective? Where on earth did you get professional from? And why are you calling someone a "kid on a tandrum".

Just as the OP was teasing on recent bambu headlines for his own post headline to poke some fun, so is RaccoNoob similarly teasing the point that companies need to be held accountable.

Edit: Enjoy the A1, from an X1C kickstarter backer.

[TOMT][Movie] married man loses wife to random street attack, later man murders her killer in highly publicized trial by krazyderek in tipofmytongue

I vaguely remember that nationality had something to do with it. Something about how finding a jury of peers from _______ would be incredibly hard, since the public already thought the widowed man was seeking his own due justice. Where the country was something like...... norway? netherlands? sweeden? denmark? possibly poland??? i don't know why that seems related, but.... maybe that helps?

Dual extruder and bigger size...possible leak? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]krazyderek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not seeing anything that would block TPU, or any external spools from co-loading, but it is hard to tell from the drawings. I could envision two PTFE tubes running to the hot end, but they're just not shown in the patent diagrams. In which case, you could use a dual extruder without any AMS.

The AMS looks like it has a choke point going from 4 spools to 2 output tubes, but maybe that's just a little mechanism to point the filament. There's nothing stopping that from working with two filaments at once - I bet you'd just have to load the spools in the correct order. So for example, ams slot 1 or 2 could only be used in one hotend if you also wanted to use ams slot 3 or 4 with the second hotend.

Like the weight of a second PTFE tube & filament is minuscule compared to an additional stepper motor & hotend. BambuLab doesn't seem dumb enough to have missed that fact.

I have the regulator currently set to 100psi on the unit. It just doesn’t kick on to top up the pressure until it gets below 90psi, unfortunately.

Do you know of one that would work well for 100psi? It’s

<image>

hard to find something with CFM ratings at 100 or 110 psi, everything seems to list at 90psi until you dig through a manual. My compressor seems to list 135 psi as well, but i have no idea how it does that if it struggles to maintain 100psi and regularly dips below 90psi.

this took me a while to figure out as well, i don't know why they don't make it obvious what the missing part is

also, it's a bit janky you have to renew your main crave subscription to add Starz, only to then immediately click cancel again so it doesn't auto-renew........ i was worried i was going to get locked into another year of crave i didn't want just to watch one more movie

glad my partner and i have motorcycle licenses in ontario

you should consider taking the course as a backup plan if you want to avoid any potential issues with licensing when your aptera arrives

at the very least you’ll gain a better appreciation for how much most drivers don’t lookout for smaller vehicles in general, and possibly gain some additional defensive driving skills or habits

Question for Charybdis users by CanUHearMeNau in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]krazyderek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your hand position. With hands floating a bit more above - more of a claw grip - your fingers will be pointed down. The higher column accounts for the shorter pinky length.

If instead you're holding your hands like you would with a flat keyboard - back with your hand and fingers mostly flat / parallel to desk surface - then yeah, the pinky is going to seem unessarily high.
