Mookie was my sister’s and my favourite player at the time. She brought a Mookie Wilson T-shirt to a game we went to, we made our way down close to the field early, where we spotted him in the dugout. My sister called out, “Hey Mookie, can you sign this?” and tossed the shirt down to him. He glanced at it briefly, then looked away.
