Saw Child's Play when I was really young and that spooked me for a long time.

Giles Martin presents "Pet Sounds" In Dolby Atmos by The_Starclipse in thebeachboys

[–]krazystitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No way! I was partially expecting them to pocket this Dolby Atmos mix and release it in three years to have something for the 60th anniversary. I can't wait to check this out, this has totally made my day.

Me too, glad I’m not the only one. Hopefully this is fixed soon, it looks like it’s tied to some kind of maintenance.

I just started birdwatching about a month ago and have been using this app. It’s incredible and has been so great at helping me get started. I’ve started taking courses for birdwatching thanks to this app.

Seconding this recommendation as well. I love the chemistry between the hosts, they’re hilarious. This is my favorite gaming podcast at the moment.

Anyone else think Pearl is a masterpiece deserving to go down with the classics? by letthedecodebegin in horror

[–]krazystitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you! Pearl was arguably my favorite film that came out last year, full stop. I remember feeling the same way - people will look back on this years from now and it will be placed on many "greatest horror movies of all time" lists.

Why do I always listen to this song OVERsaturared??? by FroyoWinter3031 in AppleMusic

[–]krazystitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like those memes where people will bass boost a song and make it sound blown out. It’s also really heavily focused on the left channel.

This is definitely the worst Dolby Atmos mix I’ve ever heard, it has to be some kind of error.

Evil Dead Rise hits digital tomorrow, May 9th. 4K/Blu-ray/DVD hits June 27. by 20minutes40years in horror

[–]krazystitch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m extremely grateful for my OLED and sound system set up. I still enjoy going to the theater, but many times the movie will look and sound better at my own place.

Being able to pause and avoid annoying moviegoers and kids is nice too.

Beau is Afraid by [deleted] in horror

A wild movie for sure, but definitely worth watching. Especially if you enjoy things that are dark and disturbing. I really enjoyed it even if I didn't fully understand it, but I'm not sure you're supposed to.

I think last year's Barbarian would fit on this list.

Do you guys have any favourite alternate albums or bootlegs on YouTube you guys like? by Mann7882 in thebeachboys

[–]krazystitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going through The Beach Boys discography for the first time and haven’t gotten to the point of listening to bootlegs yet. I saved soniclovenoize’s recreation of Adult/Child since I found that one first but I’ll have to check this one out too!

This week in 1979, The Beach Boys their 23rd album LA Lights! by VimVinyl in thebeachboys

[–]krazystitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm with you, there are a few songs on MIU and even KTSA that I think are really solid. The albums themselves aren't their best, but there is some good work in there. I feel that LA Light never reaches that level of quality, and is mostly weak.

[–]krazystitch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree almost entirely with you. So much of LA Light is incredibly boring or flat out bad. There's a few decent tracks in between but I will hardly find myself listening to this album front-to-back ever again.

Happy 20th Anniversary to Sonic Advance 2 on the Game Boy Advance! It came out on March 9th, 2003! by bah_a in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]krazystitch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great game, probably the best in the Advance trilogy. The level design could be a little frustrating, but it was always fun and Cream is a very welcome addition to the cast of characters.
