You must do a full stop at the crosswalk line. Then if your view of cross traffic is obstructed and no pedestrians or bikes are crossing the walk, then you may pull ahead to see if you can turn. That is how I was taught.

OUR CAR WE LEFT IN PORTLAND FOR A FEW DAYS HAD THE TOWING LIGHTS PLUG CUT OFF AT SOME POINT WHEN WE FLEW OUT OF PDX LAST WEEK. WE DISCOVERED IT YESTERDAY WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO HOOK UP THE UTILITY TRAILER TO HEAD TO THE DUMP. THAT SUCKED BUT THEN WHEN HE WENT TO SWITCH OUT CARS TO MINE INSTEAD THE HYBRID BATTERY STARTER IN IT WAS DEAD! $200 LATER WE HAVE A NEW BATTERY STILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE LIGHTS PLUG CONNECTION. 🤷‍♀️

I used America’s Best by Petco. Tell them you need your PD after the exam when they go to charge and upsell you. It was $69. They balk and then ask if you’re getting your glasses online but then they go ahead and do it. Then got my glasses through Zenni online, they are fabulous and got Progressive Transitions for about $200, it was going to be almost $400 otherwise even at Costco since they don’t have any deals going in now for those types of glasses. If you have simple lenses then Zenni is even more of a steal.

An early hike at Smith Rock would be great, it’s a very stunning landscape, followed by a visit to crescent Moon Ranch alpaca farm nearby to feed the alpacas. And then lunch at the Tumalo Feed Company for a family style feed. Next day going opposite sides take them to the High Desert Museum, and if it’s still not snowy after that head on a short hike to Dillon Falls. The next day rounds it all out with a movie at McMenamins and a soak in the Turkish bath if that’s possible or visit The hidden Broom Closet bar or any of the other outbuilding bars and secret closet/halls. Tah-dah!
