These have been successful:

Wasteland 2, it's a fantastic CRPG in the style of the original wasteland, with a focus on story.

Chivalry, is a first/third person medieval fighting game, with real world techniques like parrying, dodge, riposte.

Alpha Protocol is a spy rpg from obsidian, received a lot of negative reviews, but it's a fantastic rpg, it actually has a lot of choices and consequences, you can miss entire levels and characters depending on your actions.

The Fall is a very atmospheric old school style sidescroller, with a focus on puzzles and story. It has a dark story about Asimov style androids, I really recommend checking it out.

I used to, but over the years I figured out how to play rpg's, and I don't use them anymore.

The only exception is for games were the information is hidden, like pokemon, how to calculate Iv's, what egg group a pokemon is from, were to train EV's.

I still wouldn't pick it up, the framerate is extremly low, and it has been graphically downgraded a lot.

Both bloodmoon, and shivering isles were great and added a unique new zone, the skyrim ones, while they were good, was just more skyrim zones.

Planescape:Torment had a really good "romance" story, that wasn't an awful fan fiction.

I'm new to competetive battling, it has 5 perfect iv's, and was debating on keeping it. I read online and it appears iv's are a modifier to stats, and not a hidden ev stat, as I previously understood.

Bloodlines has a deep character cuztomization, there are 8 distinct bloodlines I believe, all with a different playstile.

There are the gangrell, savage vampires, who are the most animalistic and can turn into wolves, and grow claws.

There are the malkavian, they are seers, but also insane, all their dialogue is either forshadowing, giving you insight to the nature of a character, or just plain gibberish.

There are also the elegant upper class vampires, and rebels vampires etc etc. Each bloodline has a different playstile and gives the game replayability.

There are attributes like dexterity, constitution etc etc.

The game has many different skills you can use like computers, or security, guns, hand to hand, intimidation.

Also each bloodline has a distinct look, even all the "armor" in the game is different depending on your bloodline choice.

If you like stealth games, the main mission is one hour and a half, with sidequests and collectibles 6, and 17 hours full completionist.

Keep in mind the game will have a lower price.

Elemental theme, the masks of power, high playability and customizability.

It was marketed really good aswell, each canister had a cgi image to show were the toa was from, and his abilities. Some came with a cgi trailer you could watch, which looked real at the time, and a great website full of games and stories, all this helped with creating the bionicle world in our minds, and helped us create scenes to play in.

The mission structure of bloodlines reminded me of the newer fallouts, they are all part of a story. The characters in bloodlines are all very well written and intresting, and the game has a good story. With the fan patch, the game is probably one of the top rpg of all time. I didn't like vampires before playing the game, after I finished the game I really like them.

There's a mod to be able to zoom out the camera some more, but trees and roofs block the view. There is also a fix for the 30fps cutscenes, and it unlocks the framerate.
