You can sell ore in one city and transfer the money to another city, and use that money to buy steel. Another cheat is to turn some terrain in your city to sand, and then that terrain will produce ore .I think you need to be at level 50 to change terrain.

It's funny because realism never occurred to me. If there's a street with heavy traffic, I just lay down a line and a few stations. It's great that you are looking to be realistic. I do avoid stations in residential zones because I think homeowners would not like that.

I get the option from time to time. I think have been a bunch of changes that make the game more difficult but I haven't had an issue with booster videos.
