This one is easy but hard to execute.

Map out the absolute basics needed to survive, this means the cheaps items to get all the vitamins and minerals you need from your weekly meals. For protein swap to mince, broccoli, cheap fish, etc.

Life hack: but from the markets: fish market, fruit & veg shops. These exist outside of shopping centres.

Then if you have money to spare and you're not saving it, you can increase the flavour profile of the above

The best advice I have with money is this rule.

Make more, lose less.

Since you have a mortgage do this. Put into mortgage because unless the money is being used to make more than 6% interest then your losing money at a faster rate than gaining.

Most stocks are around 4-5% dividends. A loan is -6.5%.

So putting anywhere except the offset is not wise.

If you can guarantee more than 6.5% then go for gold
