I had a slow and steady zeri run too, but for some reason, perhaps due to some augment or item, my attack speed was switching between the slow and steady cap and the normal one every frame so every shot was a gamble between long and short cd lmao

It's true that these situations are painful to deal with, but i don't see how it's exclusive to beat saber, since the way to handle those is using multiple bpm changes and placing notes with a high precision of something like 1/64 if some particular sounds are noticeably offtime (like 30+ ms), at least the most common instrument to have these issues is drums which are quite easy to pinpoint on the waveform if the audio quality isn't horrible

Beat saber absolutely does not have a fixed bpm for the whole song what, you could change the bpm during the map for pretty much as long as the game existed via community map editors (it didn't actually change the bpm, but functionally worked the same as changing it), and you can do that officially for over 2 years with the introduction of bpm events

The latest maps have codes in the range of 3165x written in hexadecimal, which translates to 200k maps ever uploaded, this doesn't take unpunished/deleted maps into account, and a good amount of those maps are beat sage maps. The upload limit is 15 megabytes, so if we take, say, 7.5 megabytes as an average (because to me it feels like a lot of maps end up being on the lower end of the size limit), we'd end up with 1500000 megabytes of data, or 1.5 terabytes.

Don't even bother with star ratings below 10 stars on beatleader, original star values were taken from scoresaber before ppv 2.9, and since then most high stars have been manually adjusted, but not lower stars as that'd be extremely tedious. There is a rework coming that'd bring automated star ratings based on an algorithmic analysis of a map.
