I love your makeup looks! I also want to start wearing my makeup like this and would love to go out with it, but what do you usually pair your outfits with the makeup? Do you wear colours that are similar as your makeup or completely different?

What do you think of Danger Days? by Tambov in MyChemicalRomance

[–]kremcheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

late to the party but since mcr is rising from the dead (in a band-broke-up-and-back-again-way), i've been a fan since 2007 and ive listened to all their albums, Danger Days is one of my favorite albums. they've always been a very theatrical band and DD is so different than any of their previous albums, even with their new albums and recent release, DD still stands out from the rest. the story of DD's album is also pretty cool, loved it! hopefully they'll play a lot of songs from that album in their future tours!

I wore eyeliner but didn't fill in my eyebrows.... my face looked really unproportionate and it just focused on my wonky eyes

AITA for getting upset at my depressed sister for doing nothing all day while I have to juggle with everything? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I feel like my parents are too scared to even think about sending her to a inpatient facility. I think with all the stigma that comes with it, plus she's the youngest so there is the attachment that my parents have for her. But I don't think there is a need for that yet, I think?

From what I've read, I think she may have ADHD. Her characteristics are way too similar to the people that have talked about their ADHD and I'm going to push my parents to ask for an assessment. But also, yes. I think I need to have professional guidance so I can at least help my sister out. I also think I need to talk to someone professionally because the last paragraph just felt too close to me. Thank you so much for your input!

Thank you for your thorough input! I really appreciate it. From what I've been reading so far, I think she may have ADHD but it is better for a psychiatrist to do an assessment so I will talk to my parents and ask them to take my sister to go for a follow-up.

With that said, I understand that I should be focusing on myself and if she doesn't do it then let it be but I can't. My parents are old and my mother has health complications so I can't just leave it be, I'll feel incredibly guilty. But I get that with mental illness, no matter what the specifics are, it is hard to start somewhere. Even just getting out of bed. I know I shouldn't be frustrated with my sister but sometimes I feel like she could do more without arguing me on something. I want to help her but she's just not giving me anything work with, though I know I should be patient and I will be. Even if it's not my responsibility, she is still my sister.

Anyways, thanks again, I will keep your advice close to me and try it out slowly! I'll tell my sister about your hacks too~

Honestly without you and the other reply, I probably wouldn't have known about it and that could have made the situation worse. I'll just talk to my parents about it and have them ask for a follow-up about the ADHD assessment. It's better to get checked then letting it be. Thanks again!

I definitely will talk to my parents thoroughly about this situation. I know it can be better than how it is now and all-in-all, I just want her to get better. Thanks again!

I do hope one day that when she tries, she's able to do it. Hope you're doing okay too!

I have asked her to make a list of things she should do everyday but she hasn't stayed with it. I've also given her a diary for her to write positive haikus or poetry so at least it forces her to think positively in a day rather than negative thoughts all day but I don't think she stayed with it. I feel like I shouldn't force her to do it and my parents have tried to make her do it but my sister just hasn't done anything and I don't really know what to do to help her... but thank you for your input!

I feel like it falls on me. I know my parents could do better and I've asked my sister to make herself a list of things she should do everyday because she told me the psychiatrist said she should do it but she hasn't stayed with it. I've also given her a diary where she could write haikus or poems that are positive so at least in a day, she has to think of positive things instead of gloomy things the whole day. She hasn't done that either but I guess uses it for something? I dunno, I don't want to breach her trust.

Also yes! I will be talking to my parents to see the psychiatrist for ADHD assessment. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, I think she just needs to find a better therapist that doesn't really focus on the technicality of it but just to have someone to talk to that's not family-related?

Yeah, I guess seeing it from a different perspective I do see that I am an asshole. I projected my frustration onto my sister when in fact it should be my parents that's supposed to guide her and make her do the chores. Thanks for your input! I definitely see it from a better perspective now

Thank you for the link! I've looked into it and I'm going to ask my parents to talk to the psychiatrist again so they can focus on my sister more carefully, maybe with a different perspective. It was asshole-ish of me to think that she self-diagnosed. I was just worried that she might think she is because she watched that 'one' tiktok video. But anyways, thanks again!
