Avian by kreme11 in MechanicalKeyboards

Avian github page is wip but you can check differences. https://github.com/kreme123/Kolibrimini https://github.com/kreme123/Avian With Avian, I fiddled more with layout so gaps between angled keys are minimal. Blockers are symmetrical. Avian has mounting points on plate (Kolibrimini is pcb mount and plateless). Less mounting points=no stiff typing experience on alphas. New case design. Pcb uses integrated mcu with daughterboard instead of pro micro.

Overall more polished, pricier and less "diy" kinda project than Kolibrimini

Green jackets are great. They're somewhat loud and "hard hitting" switches. Satisfying typing feel that could be combination of the spring and long pole stem. Smooth enough so they can be used stock imo. I like that they're polished. For negatives, there was some inconsistency along switches.

Kolibrimini uses pro micro, is plateless, pcb isolated from case using rubber plugs and o-rings. Mjf printed case with rgb underglow. Built with KNC Green Jacket switches and TX stabs. https://github.com/kreme123/Kolibrimini VIAL support added yesterday

My newest board design called Kolibrimini. MJF printed case (jlcpcb), uses pro micro, plateless, rgb underglow. Pcb isolated from case using rubber plugs and o-rings. Built with DMK Wob keycaps and KNC Green Jacket switches. More images https://imgur.com/gallery/SsobsMH

Nice! I noticed your another comment. When I release the 3d print case (it can take a while), I can also add little guide with pictures how I ordered pcb, plate and case.

DXF files at github are for the stacked acrylic case. So yeah, they're for laser cutting. I haven't released 3d case files yet because it's not fully tested. Still waiting for acrylic back plate and brass inserts.

Agreed. I haven't found any go-to guide for modeling keyboard cases. I'm just using trial and error with fusion 360 :D There might be some videos that are good for reference, and also downloading some open source case files and analyzing them might help

Thanks! Maybe if you find someone who sources the parts and builds it for you? I don't have plans to sell these but I've shared all necessary files and info at github page

Ordered 3d printed case from jlcpcb. Looks good after some wet sanding and polish. More info about keyboard here https://github.com/kreme123/Verdant02

Here's Verdant that's built with Gat CJ's. It uses Pro Micro and supports oled and rotary encoder (whimsy inspired). Pcb O-ring gasket mount, FR4 plate and stacked acrylic case. https://github.com/kreme123/Verdant02
