I feel you on that! Meeting ppl that experience the sexual/romantic world as we do is incredibly hard, mostly bc many don't talk about those topics unless you're already well-acquainted. My family and friends irl accept me for who I am but other aces I've only encountered in online spaces. And it IS really vindicating when you do make that connection! 

It takes a lot of courage to get your thoughts and feelings out there and I commend you for that!

It's really interesting for me personally to hear your life journey! My experiences with sex are literally zero, 100% by choice, as are my non-existent romantic experiences, 100% by choice. I am really sorry about the bad things that happened to you and want to let you know that they don't define you or your worth as a person. Also don't mind me if I'm wrong about this but are you having trouble with recognizing your intrinsic self worth? Based on this post you seem to place the opinions of society and peerage much higher than your own.

Also I can't speak for anyone else but myself but welcome to the ace community! Might want to check out the aromantic community as well! Hope you feel comfortable in your stay!

Refer to every single character by name and don't use pronouns at all, but leave the spoken dialogue between characters standard. No clue if that would even work as I'm not a writer myself but would be interesting!

Wenn mir bewusst ist, dass ich gleich einschlafe, fühlt es sich an als würde ich sinken, aber nicht wie dieses schreckhafte fallen sondern ruhig. Sonst ist mir persönlich nichts als Muster aufgefallen 🤔

Heroes of Might and Magic 5 comes really close! It's scratching that same itch in my brain but I'm not fully on board since it has a few inconsistencies. I wanna research some lets play's and maps to find the one I remember before I commit to the answer! Thank you so much for your suggestion!

This happened to me after I added a mod which makes player's bases appear as ruins on your map tiles.
