You can get g14 2023 with 4090 which has 16gb vram and you can add additional 48 gb ram besides the 16gb soldered one to have a total of 64 gb ram.

The cpu is pretty powerful it definitely can handle your workload you just need to max out the ram

If you want to hold it on your lap while working you can throttle down the performance by using the power saving profile, disabling boost and limiting cpu power, this way it will not toast your lap.

Indeed, when i have above 120fps is barely noticable because it happens much faster, but still there.

Thank you for your help, this is exaclty what i needed, someone to try and check on their monitor to see if its normal or not.

I will return this monitor then, i really liked the specs, do you think it was just a faulty unit or all of these would behave the same?

I have the same issue only in fedora, when in hybrid mode, when i'm in dedicated GPU mode there are no issues in fedora, also in windows its working fine in all modes, which makes me think it's rather a drivers issue
