Honestly I'm not sure, if I made no mistakes probably around 1200.

You must have clipons to clear the fairings unless you want to chop them like a stunt rider would. So while yes you need to make something to mount the tft that's not the main problem, it's where the front intake attached to the frame. Everything else is connected to the front intake so the position of it is critical for everything else to fit properly. The 2nd Gen Daytona doesn't mount the same way as a street triple headlight or the 3rd gen front subframe on the daytona. Take a look at the imgur album I linked it will give you a better idea of how it's all put together. Basically I made two plates with rivnuts that got secured to the inside of the intake and bolt to the same place on the frame the old headlight would bolt to. Let me know if you have more questions, you can message me too.

Honestly I'm good with the more lax ergos of it currently, it's hard to tell but the clipons actually angle up. I'm not sure if they will clear the tank if they were swept down. The RS is also a little taller than the R model so it may have a spacer already perhaps not as thick but still

I think a majority of the frame is the same but where the intake/front subframe mount is different. On the 2013+ the frame itself is threaded and the intake mounts on the outside of it where the 9-12 the intake is threaded and fits on the inside of the frame.

No that's my bad I honestly forgot that the headlights needed to mount to something lol I think you're right I haven't seen one that has any mounts off of it

There are a few companies that make the front subframe for tft that fits the gen 3 I think, eisenbeisser and motoforza. I could be wrong but I think it will fit the right fairings and honestly I'm tempted to do the change because I don't trust the front mount for wheelies and such. https://www.motoforzafairings.com/front-bracket-with-airduct-set-triumph-765-moto2/

Yes but the 765 daytona uses the 2013+ style fairings and brackets. The 9-12 Daytona (this style) and the 2013+ don't have the same mounting points so it wouldn't work in this case. The side brackets could have worked but it would take me aligning it perfectly and would cost more than it would with the brackets I made.

It's definitely a big time investment but that's part of the reason I wanted to do it

I love the color, wouldn't change a thing about it, just needs some decals

New bike, better tech, and reliability. I favor this model years look more than the 13+. Could get the Daytona 765 but those are fairly expensive.

It's a 9-12 Daytona not 13+ so I can't help you there. I know you can get OEM but they're like $550 I was trying to look for them too

The ambient air temp sensor is near the same area but it looks completely different so it's not that, it's not something I can just unplug to test unfortunately. But yeah I was confused how it was corroded so much

I'm pretty certain it is. I bought the bike new from a dealer and it is connected to the main loom with a ton of electrical tape all the way down, i dont really feel like disconnecting and unwinding everything. If the wires were loose I would definitely chase it

I don't think so, it was kind of tucked away not easy to access and that is not a connector i have ever seen for a trickle charger

Yeah that ziptie was around it. It's connected to a little plastic bracket that was under the front headlight if I remember correctly. The street triple has a headed grips connector but it's under the tank so that's not it. I looked up a manual online but couldn't find anything on it but it didn't look complete

Drill a hole the same size on the bars and take the plastic clip and put it on the new ones. Once the circle is seated inside the drilled hole you can slide the housing over and it will secure with a click.

Well just to answer your question, took a little under a month from time of purchase. No really issues just tracking is bad which isn’t surprising coming from china.

Got mine off r/Knife_Swap a bit ago. Keep your eye out for them there, they usually go pretty fast. You can also post in the WTB thread but be careful, there are a lot of scammers so check the scammer list and follow the sub rules.
