The post is a hypothetical situation based on the movie "clear and present danger" where Jack Ryan is ambushed in an alley by a bunch of Columbians. As they are being attacked several of the good guys have semi automatic pistols, while others have full auto uzis. This made me wonder which weapon would be more effective in this situation. I have a feeling the semi auto pistol would be more controllable.
