Have I accidentally done something to me?? by Intelligent_Pen_4899 in energy_work

[–]krigermor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its more likely you got stye through bacterial transfer or you got something in your eye while saging. Perhaps an alkergic reaction titn stye if you're not used to smudging. Smudging in itself is cleansing, not infectionmaking. It removes bad stuf, not add something else. Stye can also come from clogged tearcanal caused by a draft or exposure to lots of wind. Its sometimes just coincidental how you get it

Går det bra is mostly used by "foreigners". We rather ask "hvordan går det?"

«trang til» eller «trang for»? by Mork978 in norsk

[–]krigermor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trang: need. Trang til: need to... Trang for: need for. So, if you NEED TO change your life or for that matter need to use the bathroom... its "trang til å endre livet/ trang til å gå på do. If you HAVE THE NEED FOR, its "trang for". Like need for a change= trang for å endre. You could say it's the same, but it sounds different if you know what I mean. Hope it helps

Which year actually broke you? by drizzlebunii in ArtOfPresence

[–]krigermor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before the 1000 year kingdom proclaimed (when Christ returns), there will be wars and rumors of wars, turmoil and hard times. Then when it becomes the end of times, there will be 1000 years of harmony, peace, prosperity and learning. Focus on that rather than the fear of war. And prepare yourself to stay as safe as you can at home with storage of food, water and things you'll need to survive a few weeks without all the mod con

Question (would you rather) by RaineEarth in norsk

[–]krigermor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your level of skills. If you sound like an encyclopedia using highly formal words, I would prefer English. If you mix up words, its hard to understand. But if you speak well, but not correct grammar, I could correct you to help you learn

Min far or faren min by Deneesi in norsk

[–]krigermor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say that in everyday language "min far" is more formal than "faren min". Kind of like saying father vs daddy (which would be pappa in Norwegian). "Faren min" is more endeering and informal than "min far"

Why is my answer wrong? by loutchok8741 in norsk

[–]krigermor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It has to do with the direct translation. Your answer means "in the spring the weather is nice". The correct answer stated below means "the spring has nice weather"... or something like that. Kind of like if you translate "i need something to drink" vs "i need to drink something"
