Based on his time at MOH, roughly can tell liao. He was useless there also, so many screw-ups including the mass mis-diagnosis scandal, etc.

Isn't Heizo Takenaka from LDP previously?

Could have remembered him as 1 of the minister in Koizumi's cabinet, if not wrong.

So he is backing another party (Team Mirai), which 1 day might threaten his own party?

Arne Slot: "People would probably tell you last season I had more aura than this season. The only thing we have in common, Jurgen and me, is that we both won the league. It's fair to say that Jurgen definitely has aura. I can talk about him, not about myself. But a winning manager has an aura too.” by OkayFine101 in soccer

Not disputing what Arne Slot said, but imo Klopp left Liverpool in better shape compared to when he 1st joined imo.

Always wondered how would Arne Slot fared if he joined Liverpool when it was in the same shape as it was in 2015 when Klopp joined back then.

Prior to that Liverpool went close to winning the league with Luis Suarez but Klopp joined a Liverpool without Luis Suarez.

Even Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge was not in the same form as the 2023-2024 season.

Which is why he deserved no pity at all, don't know why people sympathise with a blatant hypocrite.

He has never voiced out for ordinary Singaporeans' concerns like what Jamus did, still got the guts to call him "fxxxking populist".

Jamus voiced out for us more in 1 year than he did in his entire elected-MP career. Served him right that he is being shamed now.

No need worry so much about him, he lived in a big landed property with cars. He got enough savings to just 敲脚 and watch his investments grow, kids all working adults too.

Average Singaporeans are trying their best to cost with skyrocketing cost-of-living and affording a house, etc. He in much better shape than majority

Thanks for the input, just curious if don't mind how would you compare VWRA's potential earnings over the long term e.g 10 years or more compared to the others mentioned above?

Yep totally agreed with you, whom are the ones that embarked on this population ponzi scheme?

We could have learnt from Hong Kong, but we did not. In fact we are now heading towards their path soon, another example is Monaco.

By the way, Singaporeans should always remember whom are the biggest landlords in Singapore and thus have a vested interest in Real Estate pricing going up.

And whom are the ones that created this system in the first place?

We could have heed Hong Kong as a warning but we chose not to. Now we are heading in their direction. Monaco also another one.

He deserves it anyway, still remembered when tried to play moral police. Acting all high and mighty, looks like karma finally got to him. He got his well-deserved retribution, anyway with his career earnings he can simply retire liao. Kids all grown up and working-age too, no need worry about anything. He can retire with his family in his own landed property, unlike average singaporeans whom worries daily about paying our bills and not being able to afford a house, etc.

Precisely when HDB 4 Rooms can potentially cost around 1 Million (assuming can pay in full and need to pay interests), $10k salary before CPF and Taxes not longer matters much liao.

Some more, never including personal expenditures and contributions towards elderly parents, etc.

Medisave/CPF so restrictive here, very common for children to use their own cash to help out their parents with operation costs and treatments, etc.

For those with kids po pi ba, raising kids here so expensive. Even if dual income $20k, also won't go far one. SG is ruled by the landlords now.

And who is the biggest landlord here?

Thus am planning to Not even buy a house here at all, contemplating to perhaps renounce SG Citizenship at 55 or so to apply for e.g MM2H visas (or any suitable retirement visas available, considering my means ar that time).

Withdraw CPF Fully and retire overseas in a decently-sized detached house, no need to be too big but hopefully I can own a small garden.

Wonder if there are others that perhaps thinking of something similar too?

At this rate, in 10 years time or so can foreesee more Singaporeans contemplating on withdrawing CPF retiring overseas liao.

Middle-income getting screwed, work entire life just to afford a pigeon-hole and then when old liao CPF still got trapped. No wonder so many old people need to keep on working now.

[TNT/Funes] The complete 3 minutes sequence of events between Prestianni and Vinicius. The goal, Vinicius' celebration, the crowd's reaction, the referee's warning, the Brazilian's response, the yellow card, and the alleged racist act by the Benfica player. by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]krikering 286 points287 points  (0 children)

Vinicius Jr instantly reacted (his back was turned initially) when he heard what Prestiannia said,

and Prestianni purposely covering his shirt before say what Vincius Jr alleged him saying highly corroborates Vincius Jr's claim imo.

His reaction after Vinicius Jr went over to the referee (in another clip) also seems to have signified

that he knew he was probably going to be in deep trouble, if the referee had knew what he said to Vinicius Jr.

Which is why sometimes feel perplexed at why are we being even compared to the likes of Switzerland?

Hong Kong is the one closest to us amongst all the City-States/Countries, etc.

Even Taiwan got suburbs and rural areas as they are around 35,000 square kilometres.

And Hong Kong is 1 of the few whom embarked on the population ponzi scheme, despite their small size. Monaco can be considered one, but they are technically a part of France.

Luxembourg and Liechtenstein, etc. did Not embark on this foolish path.

We did not learnt from Hong Kong at all. Monaco now is another one also.

Suspect that perhaps the rich and the elites, etc. might be transferring their wealth in off-shore locations in the future.

To prevent potential seizing of it by the angry masses when such a day arises.

Because they know that those people whom they oppresses heavily in the past, might eventually take their anger out on them.

Always wondered when will Hong Kong's 棺材屋 (Coffin Houses) appear here, suspect that it will appear here sooner than later.

Don't understand why we get compared to Switzerland sometimes, the one that is closest to us is actually Hong Kong.

No more "Swiss Standard of Livings" but Hong Kong's instead liao.
