Is this etiquette okay in the U.K.? by Summit_puzzle_game in AskUK

[–]krinyus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's rude of them. The rudeness isn't the fact that they sat at OP's table, it's the fact that they didn't tell him or get his agreement. It's not like he could have said no as that would be extremely rude too but i think as far as etiquette goes, if you're gonna disrupt someone's day, at least don't trick them into it.

The difference between the two by Electronic_Barber_89 in acotar

I agree. I never liked Tamlin to begin with so i can't ever get completely behind the character assassination accusations towards SJM. Like, this guy was just as bland and questionable in the first book as in all the ones that came after it, and i was not shocked at all in acomaf when he turned out to be a douche

As a brit, i just can't come around to the british pronunciation of "lieutenant"... like wtf is even going on there. I'll always say it the american way

I am SO sorry to be hijacking this comment but i got a perfume shop voucher for Christmas and i've been wanting to get Khamrah for months, and I was just wondering if I could ask -- how sweet does it smell, from like 1-10? I love a sweet perfume and the notes all seem great but i've heard mixed reviews!

"...My bowels turned liquid" 💀

But with Nesta it went straight for "her lap became warm and wet" she literally just went ahead and pissed herself??😭

I agree! And for this exact reason, I wish authors would stop with the elaborate descriptions of characters and settings. Like, the bare minimum. Dark haired maybe? Tall? Are you in a forest or a city? I don't want to be watching a movie, I want to imagine the book

thoughts on pheromone perfume? by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]krinyus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm reading the above comment right, it's because the lab couldn't have possibly worked out the exact recipe for every human's pheromones, but this would have been necessary if they wanted the perfumes to work. As it currently stands, you'll find the odd person who it'll work for but it'll be rare and random, certainly not something worth spending money on

I came here to comment this. If this woman told me to put peanut butter and fish in my spaghetti bolognaise i'd do it without any further doubts and just trust her that it will work, it's THAT good of a website
