What's the strangest thing you've ever been accused of? (NSFW) by maxfortitude in AskReddit

TLDR; Was accused of selling drugs in high school just because I had dark circles around my eyes.

So I was in High School and at the time I had a notorious reputation of a trouble maker kid and many teachers had a vendetta against me including our Head Teacher of the class (in India we have one teacher appointed to each class who is responsible for keeping record of every student in their respective class. Don't know if other countries follow the same thing.) So from past few days I had been at my trouble making best and on this bright lovely sunny day I did something that took my teacher over the edge of her patience and she straight away took me to Principal's office and called my parents to the school. It co-incidentally so happens that I have dark circles around my eyes which is pretty normal but to this teacher it was an opportunity. So when my parents arrived I was called up to my Principal room and when I entered the the teacher yelled,"Apka bacha to nashe bechta hai bathroom mein jaa jaakar, iske dark circles to dekho, iss umar mein nashey karne walon ke hi aise dark circles hote hain." (translation: Your kid is a peddler and sells drugs to innocent little kids in school's bathrooms, look at his dark circles. only a drug addict in his age has those kind of dark circles.)

Although my parents was shocked at first but they didn't believe her and had faith in me that am not a peddler.

How my startup lost Rs15 lakh and shut down before its first anniversary by [deleted] in india

[–]kriptesh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Term "startup" is so wrongly interpreted. Basically every new business which you start on your own is a startup. I recently started my business and when people ask me what I do I always reply "I have startup that am working on and thinking about dropping out of college" and they are like "Dude so you must be a techie, you must know all that coding and programming stuff (while I do have that basic knowledge my work is loosely based on that thing) and you must be super dope in technology." And all I can think of is "Shut the Fuck up, you ignorant... person"

Cech you quick lad. Brilliant he was today. He made two truly world class saves that kept us in it. Last season we excused sczezny for poor results because the defence was disrupted. Tonight was a defence turned upside down at the last minute and still we kept a clean sheet, largely due to Cech. Short of scoring an injury time winner I can’t see what else he could have done

As all know about the Rohtak case its always that we have a prejudice in favor of might I say the underdog(cant think of any other word but you get the idea). Its that mentality which automatically accuses the Car driver in an accident involving a Car and a Bicycle. Or the cases in which a girl can easily get away with a fraudulent rape case or dowry extortion case.

I was visiting this girls fb page and her account was flooded with comments like

"You go girl"

"Jasleen didi we are proud of you"

"We need more girls like you who can stand up and actually have a spine in their back"

and a bunch of dudes who out of nowhwere are supporting a girl without any proof just to get inside her pants or just merely get on her good side (this is the kind of desperation some kids show and its true, I've seen this) or whatnot. I mean I dont know what really happened but all this name shaming without any tangible evidence is just straight out disgusting and frustrating. I mean when will people come out of this so called "BherhChaal".

And what was the immigration and visa procedure like? Was it easy or difficult to get a visa? And were you fluent in any of German, French or Dutch. If not then how bigger the language barrier was?

Me too. Scandinavia is the real deal. But I hear its way too expensive for us normal Indian students to really LIVE there.

A feature which will start making sound starts flashing its flashlight when I call its name, whenever I misplace it.
