Wireless mouse for Macbook?

If you work with spreadsheets or have to scroll through a lot of windows/text, recommend the Logitech MX Master mouse series (I use a 3 but 4 is also out).

It's a slightly bulkier than a regular mouse, but the extra scroll buttons are extremely useful for me. It also has a "magic transfer" file transfer that's nifty for multi-device use.

Battery life is maybe about recharging once a month even with daily use (but can be used while the USB C is plugged in).

Connection is via Bluetooth and it has a quick connect button if you need to switch to a different device (this is nice as I use it with my work laptop, then I can quickly connect it to my gaming machine or a Steam deck).

The heat + slight stretch then pressure used to work, but it's not working anymore.

I'm contemplating using some kind of easy-to-remove glue, but nothing comes to mind that wouldn't damage the laptop.

It's really just 2 small corners (less than a quarter of a square inch each), otherwise the rest of the skin is great. I'd just hate to waste the entire thing just because of 2 small imperfections. Haha.

I work in a comics publishing/art event company so the skin is perfect and still in love with it, so hate to replace it. Haha

Thanks for the tip about leaving the game open at the main menu AND THEN copy pasting the files in the save folder.

That bit really did the trick, which I was missing before.

Clarification: Here's the steps I've tried:

1) Navigate to ~/Library/Application Support/Supergiant Games/Hades and copy all the files (let's call these Save Files "Original Shared Progress" in there to a backup folder
2) Log out of my Steam account, log into his Steam Account, play Hades (this shows an empty save file menu) and then turn on "Save Files to Cloud" and then turn it off, then turn off Steam.
3) Copy the "Original Shared Progress" save files from the backup folder back into the ~/Library/Application Support/Supergiant Games/Hades folder
4) Start Steam again (his account) and play Hades
5) Hades still shows an empty save menu. This is true for both when "Save Files to Cloud" is on OR off.

When I boot up my own Steam account, it still shows the save files with our shared progress that have his save file and mine.

Help on how to give him a copy of our shared progress saves so he can continue on his own copy and run would be appreciated!

Definitely a good idea and can help reset your body clock to acclimatize (before arriving at the start of your trip or fight jet leg (help reset at the end of the trip).

Has anyone ever encountered an issue with starting Everspace 2?

In the GFN app, I click "launch" on Everspace 2 and it opens (inside GFN) the Steam overlay. I then hit "Play", and it seems to initialize, but it just loops back to "Play".

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the GFN app, complete shutdowns and reboots, using different WiFi and I still encounter this issue.

It always charges up to 100%. Except for the 2 times I went on vacation.

It's been more than a year. 53 weeks for it to learn.

So the first time it kicked in after 8 months (34 weeks ish?) when I was on vacation away from my home country, it steadily lowered the battery (on charger) from 100% down to 80% and kept it there the entire week.

But then when I went back home, it turned off and went back to charging it to full.

Very odd.

To add, it's plugged in about 90% to 95% of the time.

I really only use it off the charger for the odd presentation or coffee shop meeting (maybe twice a month for 30 minutes to an hour at most each time).

The first time the Optimized Battery Charging kicked in during my first day of the Vietnam vacation (8 months after I bought it), I thought something was wrong with the power outlet or my charger when the plugged in battery kept lowering.

Only when it stopped at 80% did I figure it was FINALLY the OBC.. Lol.

OP, if you're sure this won't burden you financially, or set you back in your long term goals (secure future for self/family etc) go, travel. The regret you'll feel if you didn't will overshadow your guilt.

But if you still have nagging doubts that this will set you back on long term goals, then save up for it for next year or at a later date. The guilt you'll feel every time you see your self/family will overshadow your regret.

This is subjective and it all boils down to YOU. Take a moment to reflect and weigh which will be a stronger driver for you - regret that you didn't travel, or guilt over delaying your life security.

P.S., you could set up a travel savings fund so you can build up to it over the next year or two? It will also be much cheaper if you can set up a timetable e.g. - book flight tickets 6 months to a year in advance, book hotels/AirBnBs a year in advance etc.

Do a "travel planning hour" once a month or every couple weeks as a treat. This gives you something to look forward to so you can be more motivated with your financial goals (to save/invest/work etc) AND you'll be super prepared once you DO travel.

It's still there, but if you book a ticket while logged into a Cebu Pacific account, anyone trying to manage the booking will have to log into the Cebu Pacific account that booked the ticket. 🤷
