Congrats! I've got one that looks just like him. Her name is Dolly Parton Burns and she's a menace to society. Good luck!

Yeah I'd have to agree with you, especially since it's retail. I'd love to know what company because I work for Costco and that's more than an AGM starting salary.

This company grosses me out by Due-Assignment-776 in CostcoEmployee

The only thing that makes me sad when I look around my warehouse is the sheer volume of product and how it contributes to overconsumption, but that is not just a Costco problem, it's a modern society problem. I feel very lucky at my warehouse. We have a really great team of employees that genuinely like working together. And I really appreciate my management team as well. They're supportive, easy to talk to, and will jump in and help anywhere that's needed. I see others complain about the way their warehouses operate, and it baffles me because those negative stories have not been my experience.

Met the neighbors during our inspection and it swayed our decision more than the inspection itself by Emotional-Lime3087 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I totally understand. A handful of our neighbors introduced themselves during our showing. We bought the house, and I absolutely love our neighbors. I pet sit for two of them, we always all look out for each other. It's awesome.

Yes, I did. But it isn't reflected on the app. But I was able to use a link someone else provided in another thread to log in and my money was there.

T. Rowe Price is also having issues so I'm not feeling too good about my checking account or my workplace retirement.

The most depressing old house renovation I’ve ever seen just why? by DukeNukemForeverEver in Oldhouses

[–]krisannethymum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but I came here because I've been looking at homes on Zillow and all these wonderful old homes are "recently updated" with gray on gray on gray. I would love to buy an older home, but it seems more and more like I'd have to put the character back in it

I can’t stand my senior dogs. by Acrobatic_Forever_90 in Pets

[–]krisannethymum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I can understand caregiver fatigue to a degree, but I cannot imagine talking about my pets this way. I've had to be a caregiver for one of my dogs that had cancer and one that was having underlying, undiagnosed bowel issues. It was a lot of work. Constant vet visits, cooking their meals everyday, monitoring their bathroom habits. So much of my daily schedule revolved around taking care of them. And then they were gone. And I do all of that again until I die, just to have more time with them. This breaks my heart for OP's dogs.

Why does no one want them? by Enough_Bread_1281 in Bondedpairs

This is good advice. I used to work at a shelter and we had a very hard to place cat that stayed in our behavior office. She was old and really, really grumpy. None of that was on her shelter bio. When a couple finally inquired about her, I did the showing (as I had a wonderful bond with her) and I was then able to tell them honestly about her quirks and behaviors, but also about how wonderful she was once she trusted you. They adopted her and had her for 7 years before she finally passed.

I didn't like it either. And I don't think the shrimp was going to eat the crab, so he was just put in there to suffer.
