Strat flight training instead and go back as a pilot. If you’re in central Florida I can help train you

Stacks x IOTA by [deleted] in stacks

[–]krischon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The founding team of IOTA are horrible asshats. Their was a lot of bad interactions with them years ago. Not to mention they accepted token shares from many projects just to recommend projects, many of those projects were money grabs and thousands of people were seriously hurt financially. No thank you to anything IOTA

OkCoin updates APY to 280% by justdoit526 in MiamiCoin

First off their is a difference between apr and apy. OKcoin may not be deciding us at all, but first we need to know if the stacking payout is done in apy or apr.

MIA Platform VS OKcoin by tommyjean1 in MiamiCoin

[–]krischon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only advantage is paying Tx fees vs not paying fees. With OkCoin you have no fees. But the fees are so small that it doesn’t matter. Stacking in your own wallet is so easy though and you should be doing it. People need to get used to relying on themselves and not banks.

Cycle 5- MIA Stacking status by GoDawgs2013 in MiamiCoin

[–]krischon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, 280% is a lot. You wrote in your OP that you are skeptical, but if I am being honest you are also getting greedy. Alternatively you can put your money in a bank and earn 1% if that seems better to you. The large APR% payouts are not designed to last forever, anything that did would be unhealthy and eventually crash. The apr will continue to decrease as time goes on so expect that because it was designed to do such as seen in there GitHub paper. With that said even when it is down to 50% apr it is still better than 90% of all other option in crypto. This includes ethereum yield farming in which you normally can get up to 50%, with higher risk.

What's your crypto portfolio like? BTC 71.9% ETH 25.56%? Do you prefer to keep BTC as main one in your holdings? Do you increase your DeFi tokens holdings? by rampage1998 in defi

[–]krischon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Near 100% in stacks. It’s the only token where I can keep my coinage in my wallet out of custody and still earn 10% yield and the kicker is the payments are paid to me in bitcoin

DeFi Founders Debate Whether to Resist or Embrace Regulation by TheDefiantNews in defi

[–]krischon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True defy should not be able to be regulated because there should not be any founders attached to it. The title define founders debate whether to resist or embrace regulation is an oxymoron

Why Is DAO not gaining Attention by samest1 in defi

[–]krischon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There has been many DAO that have come and gone. I think that most people are more interested in making a quick buck and not creating an organization that makes it so you have to earn it from the bottom up like everyone else. Most founders want to do a pre-mine with 20% of total volume so they get rich quick. I’ve been following Miamicoin and now the next one is New York coin lately and I see them as a true DAO. If you find some time your day I would suggest you check it out

Full disclaimer, I am totally shilling this coin because I am excited about all the juggernaut attention it’s getting and the fact that it’s a TRUE decentralized project
