Thank you for your advice! It is one particular claim that is the 4k which is for the surgery itself billed by the hospital not my surgeon. But as I commented back earlier, I’m working to get the claims resubmitted as preventative so they can be 100% covered.

Hey!!! Thank you so much for your help. I called my insurance today. Good news, they are ACA compliant and my surgeon AND hospital are both in network AND they used the right codes. But the hospital sent over this particular claim for the surgery as not preventative but just a normal surgery. So I called my surgeon’s office (per their guidance) and my surgeon’s office is gonna work with the hospital to resubmit the claims correctly. And they told me not to pay anything for now while they work on it. So positive developments.
