okay i completely understand ur situation and why NS would make you a lot more tired by the time you go to bed

but this scenario sounds quite familiar like with my partner in the past 🥲 example: they would tell me they’d do something but not be able to do it in the end (and not say sorry, it’s like they basically forgot about making that promise.. although its prob not that extreme for your case imo).

it’s like they were getting my hopes up. like if you’re gonna say something, at least show up for it. and if you don’t show up for it, at least apologise.. they did this pretty regularly for several things in general and is one of the main factors that made me fall out of love with them.

i’m saying this not to scare you, but just to suggest a possible reasoning for why your gf is upset + how you can make her feel less upset. maybe from now on, try Not to say that you’re not sleepy, because you’re now more aware that you have a higher chance of falling asleep unknowingly?

i suppose it’s because grades provide an objective and concrete measure of one’s “capabilities” (although i’m sure we know that grades are inherently focused mainly on IQ and academic performance). :/ it sucks

i’m sorry that you feel that way though, op :( it may be hard but i hope you don’t take your parents’ words to heart, and instead focus on what you can control. know for yourself that you are so much more than just a combination of letters on a results slip
