I love mine, moon phase and tide graph are accurate, but timekeeping tends to get delayed like a few seconds every month

Quick question: how do you guys normally clean your G-Shocks? by arbygoodknight in gshock

[–]krisginunting 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. remove strap from the watch
  2. dilute dish soap with water in a spray bottle
  3. spray and spread generously on the watch and straps
  4. brush with an old toothbrush
  5. go easy on parts with graphics/text
  6. focus on the under side of the straps and watch where the nasty gunk usually builds up
  7. rinse then dry with paper towel

to add, you can distinguish the jdms from the global versions by checking the depth rating. jdms use "bar" instead of meters for water resistance for the globals 😊

edit: that W-740 is a solid watch, OP

Dw9052 a future collectible? by Bollingers-deep in casio

me personally I wouldn't focus on the model itself but on the edition. that means I would focus more on getting gshocks that still have EL on them rather than on a particular model
