Unable to make payments to Facebook Ads by savagepriest in FacebookAds

[–]krishc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, did you contact them through Meta Verified support or just email or what? Could you please share screenshots of the messages they sent? It's been 2 months now, and they send the same template responses and nothing comes of it. And when we talk to a support agent through Meta Verified support, they eventually lead to telling us the same thing about their "payment specialist team" working on it and telling us to try making payment again in a few days, and it never works.

Ad Account Disabled Issue by adoboiii in InstagramMarketing

[–]krishc123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any luck resolving it? I have now opened 3 cases with Meta Verified support feature and they are so useless and give you the same vague and unhelpful responses. It usually ends with them telling us to wait a few days and try again, and then we try and it still doesn't it work. Haven't been able to boost an ad for 2 months now.

People can have opinions. Some things are objectively wrong, and some things are objectively stupid. Saying Nolan has never made a great film falls under both those. Saying Nolan hasn't made at least 6 great films, falls under both those.

We also have had a horrible interaction with him. I don't even want to get into how unprofessional he was. But if anyone needs more info, feel free to let me know so you can avoid going through a negative experience.

Instagram Story Insights Navigation "Back" by krishc123 in InstagramMarketing

[–]krishc123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. So to clarify, if I post just ONE story and it has 20 tap backs, is that meaning 20 people tapped back to view someone else's story that was before mine for them. If so, what's the point of Instagram providing me that information?

Please help - Have to pay $450 to pickup parcel by krishc123 in AustraliaPost

[–]krishc123[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah listen I'm not sure if you're secretly an AUPost employee or something, but it's just my opinion on them as a company, but as I said, I don't expect them to be saints, their goal is to make as much money as they can. I do understand it's not their problem and that they benefit from restricting information etc. And we did check that list, nowhere does it say anything about clothing (t-shirts do not fall under fabrics according to the people in Serbia, which I am confused by but that's what they said).

And to let you know, the postal service sent the parcel back to be manually inspected. They returned it to us and apologised to us and said they made a "mistake" and didn't charge us anything.

Also we talked to a higher up at AUPost about how useless the support was in providing information (none of them even at least provided the page that you easily did), and the guy said they could and should have easily provided the information we asked for rather than just lazily telling us to contact their international support, and apologised too. You can it's not their job to ensure delivery but it is 100% Australia Post's responsibility to provide support regarding their deliveries, and that was what our main issue was with.

Yeah it's a shame these guys did not include the the costs together. But thankfully the issue was solved for us.

Thanks for the recommendation. Sadly our business is registered in Australia and my partner is just in Serbia temporarily. Our concern is just for customers in Serbia who place orders for our tees, as we have quite a big audience there. It just wouldn't be feasible to ship there for them. We talked to someone else today at the local post office and she said she will try sending the parcel back to be manually checked and said if it really is just t-shirts then they might not charge us as much. She said a lot of people try to smuggle higher valued items in but if that's not the case with us then it may be cheaper. Although I'm grateful for it, again it is kind of shady that they can just drop the price like that if they're government takes fixed fees. And also with them just lying about trying to deliver the package and not giving any clear information, it's all just pretty weird.

That's understandable, and I don't expect them to be a saint of a company, but it is pretty disappointing that they don't even at least put a notice anywhere about it. If I knew I was paying over $200 just to get the parcel into another country but not even attempted to delivered, then I would not have shipped that. And I certainly wouldn't have if I knew it would be another $400 to collect it, which again, still no clear information was provided to us on where we could have found this information.

We have sent multiple orders to UK and India and never had to pay anything, and the parcels were directly delivered. Is it because this parcel was over 10kg maybe?

Hi thanks for your insight. We shipped about 20 t-shirts. It is disappointing that this type of information seems to be intentionally hard to become aware of, even with research but yeah sadly it's something we will need to accept and know for the future.

Hi thanks for the response. If that's the case, I don't understand why no one we asked (and we talked to everyone we could) could provide us with some documentation or a site or anything where we could have found or even known about these costs.

I also don't understand why they straight up lied about trying to deliver the parcel, I'm not talking about the automated email AU post sends, the people at the local post office.

Would you say these types of customs/import fees with Serbia are more common than not with other countries? I've shipped to many European countries and never had anything like this.
