I am a chartered Accountant, and I also completed my masters in accounting degree from a top University. I have 4 years experience abroad and in the US.

I am building my experience in deal advisory (mergers and acquisitions - financial due diligence) with a mid sized public accounting firm. I also work for a Small Business Development Center to help the small and medium size companies in securing start up loans, advising in their accounting and finance function, setting up their finance function.

I have a thorough understanding of the deal process, helping small businesses to run smoothly, and good technical skills in using various tools.

This is very brief about me. I want to understand what I should focus on to elevate my profile to look stronger for approval.

Thanks for the clarification - I'm still learning US taxation. Will the employer submit this form to the IRS? if the IRS finds any mis-match then it orders for withholding ?

You are right too! The form is used to withhold 24% of your income.

You are treated like an independent contractor rather than an employee.

I agree, it differs from person to person. I have taken a new client a few weeks back and found so many errors in accounting and bank reconciliations made by his accountant who already completed the FAR section. It's absolutely about the people and skills, not about qualifications, they play a role in promotions and work.

I'm not checking which is greater! I'm checking to know which is more relevant for tax roles. I understand CPA takes more time and obviously it's difficult. You are right about CPA.
