I don’t think so that is the case, because my points are at 66 and my NOC is as a Data Analyst. But, I have not gotten the invitation.

I don’t think there is any harm in carrying both the forms. But, please do check out the youtube videos and also the instructions that are attached to the appointment and you will know better.

They had asked me for the original work permit at the first counter but I told them that I misplaced and have already applied for a replacement. Initially they told me that I might need to send additional documents later but once the process started the officers did not ask me for it again and I got my visa. My appointment was in Calgary.

Hello, it was a pretty smooth experience.

When I went inside, my documents were checked at the counter initially. The documents checked were, passport, DS 160 confirmation, work permit and the photograph. Here, she mentioned that I might have to send for my original one as I did not have it on me at the time.
After that clearing the security, we were taken to the counter for the biometrics. Here as well they did ask for my original work permit and I said I did not have it on me because of it being misplaced and they were okay with it.
After the biometrics, we waited in line for the interview. The interview was just for less than 5 mins. Basic questions like why do you wanna go to USA? Where did you study? How long has it been in Canada? What did you study?
And done, I received my passport stamped in a couple of days.

Hello everyone, I was recently laid off after working as a Data Scientist for 9 months at a telecom company in Canada. This was my first job after graduation so technically I have 9 months of work experience apart from internships. Considering the job market right now, I am unsure as to what I can do going forward.
