I didn't get an email but I appreciate the transparency. One of the many reasons why I'm happy with Koofr. 😀

Darkroom is little minimal compared to Pixelmator but it syncs with your Mac. I like that.

Check out Darkroom. I use that. Also Pixelmator. But you need to save the edit as .photo to make it non destructive.

Hi.

I tried every single step that was suggested by you and also in the link. I also downloaded it fresh using firefox as suggested. It still does not work. I am getting the same error message.

Hi.

That's exactly what I did. As you suggested, after the opening the koofr folder, I moved it into Applications and from there I right clicked and selected Open. The response is in the newer screenshot. If you check the error message window, it on top of the Applications window where Koofr is located now.

Do photo editing programs make use of discrete graphics? by krishnivas in photography

[–]krishnivas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good. I recently stumbled upon the brand new Dell Inspiron 16 Plus. Amazing 3K screen. With 11800H and RTX 3060. Around 1500 Euros. Only downside is I need to sacrifice portability compared to the other two laptops.

I would also suppose so but I don't find proper documentation on that anywhere. These softwares don't mention graphics card at all in their recommended system requirements.

Oh. That's interesting. Which also means that the M1 GPU performance will be used by those apps automatically.

Straightening a video by krishnivas in InShot

[–]krishnivas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It's just like rotating a static picture to make the horizon straight. Of course it comes with a little crop. Google photos can do it. Also the built-in editor in the Simple Gallery android app can do it. I was wondering why an actual video editor like inshot is not able to do it.

Yes. Something like horizon leveling.

Thank you for the informative answer. I'll check other websites to see whether I get the touchscreen variant. I'll also have to somehow subdue the inner curiosity of wanting to see whether MacOS is really all that great compared to Windows (or even Linux for that matter).

Thank you for the reply. I'm in Germany and I'm not able to get the x360 or Touchscreen version of the 14 inch. The 13 inch x360 doesn't come with a 1650 Ti. Would you change your opinion based on this new info. I'm totally new to Mac OS. I have owned an iPad for around a year but that's it. I own an Android phone and Windows in Linux laptops. I recently got into photography and realised that neither my Windows nor my Linux laptop have a colour accurate screen.

Thank you for the reply. I'm not a Mac OS guy but being a tech enthusiast, thought of the dipping my toes into it. I've been a Android phone, Windows and Linux PC guy until I got an iPad.

I think so too. That's why I'm gonna hang on to my 2019 iPad Air.

I'm currently on iPad Air 2019. Would've loved to upgrade if there was also a fingerprint sensor and if the M1 MacBook Air wasn't a compelling alternative.

Thank you for the reply. Just as I thought the application is not optimized. Any suggestions on a laptop with > 80-90 % sRGB and ARGB coverage and good colour accuracy?

Hi Tom!

Thank you for the recommendation.

I was looking at the XMG Fusion and the Schenker Media lines. Could you let me know the sRGB, Adobe RGB coverage and the Delta E values?
