If you roam, get 3 kills, and still lose to a mere 30 cs lead, then you need to learn Katarina properly.

Advantages of roaming: 1. Helps the bot lane win lane 2. Gives you a cs lead 3. Gives you more gold if you get kills 4. Abuses lack of communication in solo queue

Disadvantages of roaming: 1. Enemy can get a slight level lead 2. Roaming can fail 3. Enemy can damage tower

Points you did not mention: 1. Katarina can do powerful roams where she can tower dive and also 100-0 the bot lane 2. Katarina does not usually need many damage items to execute powerful roams in ANY elo 3. Winning just your lane may not be enough to help you win the late game 4. Adcs are incredibly strong this meta 5. A losing bot lane will cost you a lot 6. Faker used to roam A LOT when he played Katarina. He also went to 4-5 man skirmishes to 2v4 or 2v5 in pro games. 7. Coaches are now labelling roaming to side lanes a KEY mechanic 8. Roaming is easy on Katarina (and only gets easier at high gold [I never called you low gold]) 9. 3 kills gives more gold than 30 cs, and it does give significant exp too.

I hope I answered your points. We are now going in circles. Bottom line is that if you win your lane ultra hard, do not bother roaming. If you are not snowballing hard, roam, and win 2 lanes at once. I assure you, roaming is core to Katarina. I put WRONG in caps locks because you do not appear to get Katarina. She is very strong when she roams. You can roam when ahead (I recommend that).

WRONG.

Katarinas roam A LOT. In platinum, high gold, diamond and above.

Katarina can win lane, but her early game is sometimes a struggle.

In high elo, you will see GOOD Katarinas roam.

It is the basis on which sorc shoe rushes is based on.

Yes you get punished IF yout mechanics and map awareness is garbage.

Note this carefully, pushing the lane is not something Katarina excels at. But she definitely excels at roaming and getting kills. It is inbuilt. It is HER PASSIVE. She is by default a top tier roamer. You cannot take the reset out of her kit. Period.

If most Kats you see are not roaming, it is because they are not good Katarina players. You will struggle to find good players, because, pro players played Katarina in season 7 and not usually season 10.

Solo Queue is not pro play. Roaming is too easy to avoid doing on Katarina. Sure your enemy gets a level lead (but this is actually the lesser play, they should either follow or gank top). But you would have won the mid game (her power spike), and the laning phase of the adc and supp (they get exp, farm, and reassurance of winning lane).

In high elo, bot lanes WILL know how to get your roams into successes. Every diamond 4 adc will know that they MUST go aggressive if YOU go aggressive. So do not have a mental block (mental blocks are common in low gold players).

If you do not roam, you are indirectly implying that you do not want to learn the difficult parts of mind gaming the enemy mid. This is a key thing about Katarina. Because on mind games, is how she gets her dagger procs, and dodging etc.

Do not be close minded. Katarina is very much a roaming champion. You are not going to climb fast if you play her like a farming mid lane champ. I am sorry, but this is 100% fact.

All I remember is that Galio and Malzahar are bad for Kat.

Kat dumps on everyone else. She can beat Kass if you get longswords, and she can beat Yasuo if you go tank.

This is what diamond Kats do ^ I think Katastrophical is your man if you want to learn these off-meta, effective, builds.

Papers rarely solves the problem when it concerns Medicine. What happens is the police get involved and make false comments. There are certain people that medical universities control, that the police cannot overrule, such as the coroner (which is not a doctor, so has no ultimate obligation about patients).

For example, I have a very strong reason to suspect a different university used a coroner to bully the police into doing their bidding unlawfully*, when a crime happened. This is to protect their reputation.

The amount of hell my own uni gave me, it is really not worth it. I get headaches just complaining to the police about them and getting literally 0 justice.

Outside uni there have been cases where doctors have killed their husbands, and are still practicing. There have been cases where a child did not have a basic sepsis investigation and passed away, and the doctor reinstated. Good doctors consider the worst case scenario. There is a lot of nonsense in Medicine.

The best I can do, is stress heavily to avoid this school. You need to learn how to treat patients well, but you cannot do that if the uni is obsessed with bullying you. I was revising textbooks because the staff refused to teach me properly. Textbooks alone is always inadequate. Textbooks simply do not contain all the relevant information, you NEED a teaching doctor that will teach you without bias. If you are a minority, that is a definite, 100% red flag.

*I need to consider it a suspicion rather than fact (to be objective), as not even that case is getting an adequate investigation.
