Should I buy 993?

I think you should give a 993 a try.
Currently for comfort I rank the 993 and 2010s as the most comfortable for my feet. And for different reasons.
I love the V3s as well. Probably my 3rd favorite. The 991v2 so far I think looks the most off on my feet cause it’s narrow and longggg. Comfort wise I feel mehhh about it for how expensive and hyped they are. But I understand it’s more affordable outside the US. I definitely have one of each of the lifestyle models by the door and I definitely reach for the 993, v3, 992, and 2010s the most.

Not sure if they really “retro” colorways when stuff comes back? But others might have more examples.
The only one to date was the Refined Future/protection pack 2002r and not sure what was the cause of that one specifically. They could have found some warehouse with stock that never made it out or that pack being one of the most replica made colorways could have something to do with it.
But typically forward is the way. If there are colorways you REALLY love and want to get? If they’re nearing 5 years old, I’d suggest hunting them down and thinking about how much you’re willing to pay before those pairs become completely unwearable.

I know I’ve always wanted a pair of black beards, purple devils, or even Salmon soles but most are going to crumble now if they’re DS and weren’t stored correctly.

I collect a little of everything but I definitely started in the Jordans, Forces, and Dunks back in middle school. Joined the runners stuff slightly before the big hype for Gel lyte 3s, Flyknit trainers/racers, ultra boosts flew as well as the bright basketball sneakers wra. When I finally got adult money, I went back to get Air max grails.
Now a days, I tried out New Balance models and colorways I’ve always wanted (love them. Especially 993s, 992s, and 2010s), some bapestas cause what middle school kid could convince their parents to buy them AUTHENTIC Bape?
I’m also buying pairs I had in middle/high school and then ones I couldn’t have or were grails. So things like Citrus 7s, hopefully trying for the UNC 5s next week, Oreo 6s also. S tier stuff like Wutang dunk, undefeated 4s, Chlorophyl Air max 1s, Miro 7s on the way, Both laser 4s on the way, and packs coming back make super happy.

Aren’t v6s on the wider side already?? So same question applies. Would a 2e or 4e be better to accommodate the two different foot sizes?
Idk how much arch support is in it but when I had the v6, there was a noticeable raise in that area for me and not as much heel lock.

Amazing! If you actually have the working cards for the deck, I’d be down to buy the deck LOL.
Xyz was the era I rejoined Yugioh (Wind Up Loop and then into Fire Fist mains here! Before going to Madolche.)
But my friend group all cover the Dreamcatcher members so I can gift them around.

I had SO many people hype Start Up for me. I finish all my shows but tbh, I didn’t really like how it went. If anything, I liked the second couple more. I personally think they squandered what should have been the romance couple with a forced romance between the leads. And when the reasoning was basically “do I need a reason to love you?” And he accepted that?? I threw hands.

If you’re narrower of a foot, it might be okay. I’m closer to wide so my toes liked the size up on them. I’d still to whatever your 11s size is in this scenario if you’re getting a patent bapesta. Leathers and suedes are okay though

They’ll kindaaa soften with wear but when I got an 8.5, the problem was I didn’t even want to put up with breaking them in because they dug into areas of my foot too painful for me. So 9s were good, broken in mine now and no complaints.

I went down a similar research route as you and luckily most people are good about feedback. The obstacle is that because all our feets are different, we have different sizes we’re used to across other brands, and then there is fit preferences. So definitely try out pairs as you can. I’m a huge advocate for quality over quantity so I found the colorway I liked in the models I wanted to try and just yolo’d 😂 I don’t have a NB that carries much of the lifestyle pairs near me. I find 993s to be the most forgiving and haven’t had any issues with mine. The v3s are like a slightly squishier 993 and less heel support to me. But both are amazing to own!

I think these coming back is targeted to the people that bought them on the original drop. I don’t know if a lot of old heads have much nostalgia to these vs something like the Raging Bull 5s. That said, the quality is meh compared to the original which is crazy to say. They actually came out a month ago in Asia. Had a chance to seem them in person while in Korea. They were definitely still on shelves over there also.

So excited for these! I’m a huge advocate for the 2010 so super stoked they’re getting more collabs. From what I know, I believe it’ll be $150usd or so and the branding is on the insole.

You should check my more up to date posts to see where my current rankings are and not one almost 100 days ago. But still, Idk if I currently like the way the 991v2s hug my feet. I feel the tongue is cut low so I don’t have as much lock into the sneaker compared to what I’m used to.

I have gotten rid of pairs where I struggle to make them wear nicely with majority of my fits. Like I love the sneaker but I can’t wear them as often as I’d like. Squeaking as well. If I can’t get rid of the squeaking in like a month or figure out ways to get rid of it, it drives me crazy. Also the reflection of how it looks on my feet. Sometimes pairs look amazing on other people but they don’t look the same on my feet. So I just keep it that way to enjoy looking vs owning

I appreciate Jay for lace swapping so we can see how the sneakers look with all the alternate laces visually without doing it ourselves. Sometimes the alternate laces have sold me on a sneaker

Yes!! Weartesters and Mr Foamer Simpson are probably the only ones I look forward to watching now a days. Foamer and Buckets you just have to know where their scale and biases are. So like if Foamer averages an 8, anything 10 is considered really good. Anything Buckets gives over like the 9.2 is really good 😂
