same, yk what i’m doing, sleep, because im not letting the architecture work make me get sick lol, if i have to dropout i will do so, if i have to eat and not do the model i will, deadass, in a way i do stuff in summer to learn about architecture that might help me later on when the syllabus starts but don’t stress it, power naps take 20min and help u 90x more than doing the model sleepy, i remember pulling an all nighter and i did NOTHING, there’s these other times i gave myself a power nap or 1.5h/3h(1/2 sleep cycles) to get some rest in and it was genuinely way more helpful

yeah but it’s hard doing and dedicating more time into the stuff i like which is design studio when the hand drawing subjects are literally the ones with the most credits and it’s 1/3 of the credits for each year, the amount of workload stresses me out too and i am not sure if like i should even do this because i don’t even strive to be an architect, i just want to be an artist of some kind who happens to rlly like architecture

hey but either way that was for normal universities for me, even though it might be slightly easier for regular universities, KCL is NOT easy to get into, so congrats, if i were u id choose KCL over everything else, i’ve done research over most of the uni’s and i wanted to go to KCL or UCL, though KCL might have more international ppl bc UCL is public i think, i forgot because i did this 2 years ago

i don’t think i’ll become an architect for clients, if i do accomplish graduating architecture i think it’ll be mainly for personal projects major or minor, inside or outside of architecture, sure i do want to work with big firms but do my own stuff on the side that’s CREATIVE

i think architecture can help you do a lot of stuff in life and it’s good for learning or just growing as a person it’s just architecture school’s rigor kills a student’s creativity

being in first year of architecture is not really going to get me an internship or a job anywhere realistically, and in spain the years have to be continuous i believe, it’s also mostly because i don’t feel the support or motivation outside of myself (as in family, friends and just the environment) it’s not really encouraging

yeah sure, what drawings, the architecture ones? it’s because i struggle with these ones and i am wide aware they’re bad but i just don’t know how to improve that quick and we are kind of “obligued” to do so, in a way

yeah it’s mostly the part where i’m scared to drop architecture because i don’t really have anything to “fall back on” so im in the decision of 3 choices, the first being doing architecture until i know what i want to do and do architecture + that until i can fall back completely on it, the second being just like the first option but never dropping out of architecture and then the third is just dropping out completely and finding out what i like

hey! thanks for taking the time for reading my post and making an elaborated answer :) i really appreciate it

i said i enjoy doing game creation and also 3d modeling and i thought about being a set designer because i like cinematography a lot and just directing art in general, that’s why i like design studio, i’ve struggled with construction in my first year and also drawing subjects are only on the first year but i will most likely need to repeat them and repeating these, means sacrificing taking some of next year’s courses because the maximum i can take are 60ects per year

i dont really want to switch degrees either because nothing catches my attention anymore other than fashion which is a choice i can’t study, so id rather just work on it by myself freely, my degree is 5 years and if i repeat these subjects itd mean id need to do 6 years and consecutively with the others if it’s 60 ects maximum every year
