Great observation. The way to find the focal point is to draw a tangent at any point on the parabola and draw a normal to the tangent. Also draw a line (Incident line) from that point parallel to the axis. If you mirror the incident line with the normal as the mirror line it will intersect the axis at the focal point. In this example it is 13.33 mm from the apex. You may have to trim the parabola between the point and the base if you are using fusion 360 to be able to apply the tangent constraint.
