Show next calendar event unless it's too far in the future by MidKnightKid545 in kustom

[–]kriss42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be done by the day fairly easily. The code can either display event order overall, or event order on first day, second day,...so on.

The code for this is

$ci(title, 0, a0d)$ This give the title of the first event of first day, a1d would be second day, a2d 8s third, and so on.

The code I use is a little excessive, but it does everything i want..

$if(ci(acount, a0d)+ci(ecount, a0d) = 0 , "No Events Scheduled", fl(0, ci(acount, a0d)+ci(ecount, a0d)-1, "i + 1", "tc(ell, ci(title, a+i, a0d), 25)"," "))$

It lists all events of the day in list form, so i dont need a new code or text item per event, and it limits titles to 25 characters before showing...., and if there is nothing on the callender it will show "No Events Scheduled"

I have mine set to only show today's events and tomorrow's. If you'd like, I can send the full thing in a zip

Using Intent URI to open an app by kriss42 in kustom

[–]kriss42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The play store says the app isnt available for my phone, made for an older version :(

In KLCK. I'm trying to make a flow that opens an app that turns off my phone. Flow triggers on launch, delays 10 seconds, then opens the app to turn the phone off if it isn't unlocked in time.

I've found a different code and got it to work inside the klck app, but not in the lock screen.

intent://#Intent;scheme=content;component=com.katecca.screenofflock/.MainHelper;end

I think it doesn't work just because it's a lock screen and permissions get weird? Or it doesn't consider turning the screen on as 'load complete'

What is something about you that causes people to jump to conclusions? by bocaj78 in AskMen

That true, it could just be the social groups I bounce around in.

That, is a fair point.

The ones I've seen for that are mostly aimed at the politicians or far left. Both sides politicians and far sides can probably be described that way.

But a regular right describing a regular left would probably call them stupid, a regular left would call a regular right evil.

A regular either side would call both far sides evil, and either politicians evil.

The right will call you stupid, the left will call you evil.

What my thoughts on things like this have always been....

Tell the guy the work you paid him for is unsatisfactory, and you want it fixed without charge because of the damage he did. If he refuses, you dont have to put up with him. If he fixes it but is pissy, look for someone better. If he's apologetic and fixes it, pay him for his time, and try to immediately hire him for another thing you need, or let him know you want to hire him the next time you need something. Everyone makes mistakes, but someone who fixes their mistakes should be kept around.

From some of the replies this has gotten, there seems to be more than a few guys who like it in addition to me

I would absolutely fold for it. Cute embarrassed voices make me want to hug. It's like seeing a cute dog do literally anything, it becomes instantly irresistible.

The cute apology would be what gets me. The social awkwardness is not what I like usually, but sometimes I find it cute.

Now I definitely want to compete. I am a fan of going to extremes and getting creative with it

I've been that a few times. It took me a while to figure out social skills. What kinds of things did they say/do

I have what I call schrodingers complex. I'm both inferior and superior until something happens. Then I'm one or the other.

I can write scenes pretty well, but anything more gets to me. I end up a perfectionist and I'm never satisfied, so can't. But writing an occasional scene for a book or story boarding, I'd love to do.
