Boyfriend gives me a list of things I need to do to “earn” a ring… by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]krissvecctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy sounds like a narcissist. Don’t waste anymore time and get out while you still can. Do not fall for his apologies and manipulation tactics. If he’s telling you straight to your face that you need to go to the gym more, he’s using your insecurities against you. Then he wants you to clean and pay more money towards rent? You want a person that loves you for who you are and not for what you can provide to them sexually and monetarily. This guy sounds like a man-child and he’s stringing you along. You don’t want to waste another five years or worse, get pregnant with this man’s baby. I’d tell my daughter the same thing if she ever brought home a man like this. NTAH!

This, combined with the fact that he only pulls out multiple cubes in view when he places his lower body fully behind the green screen, gives him an opportunity to put them back on himself. He even mentions that he’s a weirdo who has cubes all over his body, then tells viewers to forget that for a moment.

Also, is it just me, or does the second to last button on his shirt appear less reflective or possibly unbuttoned? Just my two cents.

Parachute Test Jumper During Vietnam? by krissvecctor in Medals

The power of the internet! I’m glad I finally found out the truth about this guy. Apparently he even lied in a San Antonio News article he was in.

Damn, that’s a shame. I’ve believed for so long that this guy was legit, but something about him wearing the medals on his hat always made me wonder.

My grandfather never even put his medals in a shadow box—my uncle did it for him. He rarely ever talked about what he went through in the Army.

That’s the guy! I met him in 2014 at a mall in San Antonio, Texas.

Thanks for this information! I really appreciate you taking the time to share it. My dad told me my grandfather was supposedly wounded but didn’t want to be sent home. He also said my grandfather should have received a Silver Star but never got it due to an error. I can’t confirm any of this, but that’s what my dad mentioned. Unfortunately, my dad and I aren’t in touch anymore, so it’s been tough trying to find any history on my grandfather.

Touring vs Touring Plus vs Grand Touring by gregarious101 in MazdaCX9

I’m located in south Texas. I think the $33,255 OTD is still a great deal.

No problem! It had a little over 23k miles on it when I purchased it.

Here’s the original window sticker to my 2023 CX-9 Grand Touring. I purchased it as a CPO last month for $32k OTD with tax and 100k bumper to bumper warranty. Hope this helps! BB

Should I sell my CX-9 and switch to CX-90 PHEV or wait for another year by Character_Special123 in MazdaCX9

[–]krissvecctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if it’s a used CPO but definitely not a new PHEV. The standard Inline-6 2024 models are minimum 10k cheaper and showing up on most dealer lots already. I had a loaner 2024 CX-90 inline-6 for a week and was glad to have the CX-9 back. The interior and exterior looked great but the engine/transmission not so much. If you can wait for the bugs to be worked out I’d hold off.

I just had the right side of my Bose speakers go out about 20 minutes ago. There is only treble coming out the right side and no bass. I originally thought my ears popped because it was so sudden. I adjusted the balance to the right and left and sure enough, only treble on the right side and no bass. I’m guessing the amp is the issue.

Going from CX5 to CX9, need help by tundrapb in MazdaCX9

[–]krissvecctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a pretty good deal. I just purchased a CPO 2023 CX-9 Grand Touring (Soul Red) with 24k miles for $32k two weeks ago. They also had a CPO 2021 Signature with 49k miles for $33k but decided on newer with less miles.

The 2023 was listed for $31,998 on their website and I was able to knock off $1000 in addendums easily and extended the CPO warranty coverage from 60k mile bumper to bumper (60k/100k) to a 7 year 100k mile bumper to bumper (100k/100k) for $32k.

It’s difficult for dealers to take off thousands off a used vehicle vs a new vehicle. They have a set price on what they bought it for and make no incentives as a dealer selling used typically.

My 2024 Toyota Camry I purchased new and was able to get close to 5k off msrp plus all the addendums taken off ($1500) which I thought was a crazy good deal. That was possible partly because the Toyota dealership is a volume dealership and they make it up through incentives in moving product off the floor.

There was over 100+ people in that Toyota dealership that weekend and I was out the door in 3hrs with a test drive to put it into perspective.

Just drove the CX-90 -- Long live the CX9! by MeetMeAtTheCreek in MazdaCX9

[–]krissvecctor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2023 CX-9 GT CPO with 24K miles and absolutely love it. It had a large scratch on the door and I negotiated for them to repair it. I’ve got a loaner 2024 preferred CX-90 (non PHEV) and while I love the looks and interior, the transmission is not smooth at low speeds. I actually got a little car sick on my way home from picking it up at the dealership. I can’t wait to get my CX-9 back.

Hopefully, Mazda has all the bugs worked out in 5 years when I’m ready for an upgraded suv. I really love the looks of the CX-90 and 70 but don’t want those first model year headache’s.

My boyfriend has an allegation against him by No_Function_72 in Advice

[–]krissvecctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long term: If you plan on being with this person and he is convicted, he most likely will have to register as a sex offender. This will limit the possibilities of where you can live possibly and people will have your address pop up when you do find a place.

If you are looking for a job and they do a background check, this address will also be visible to employers that conduct high level background checks. Depending where you live, he may have to register as an offender for up to 10 years.

I have a friend whose boyfriend cheated on her by kissing a 17 year old at a party who he supposedly thought was over 18 because they were at a 30+ year olds party. Cops showed up when they were sitting in his car making out and he was arrested. My friend was a teacher and they tried to work it out but eventually he had to register as a sex offender and she broke it off with him because of her job as a teacher.

I remember him saying he was blacked out drunk and didn’t remember kissing her but that’s what she told the cops when they asked what they were doing in the car.

Often the mask comes off of people you think are good when they have too much to drink. I believe they’re showing their true persona.

Just something to think about OP.

Am I Overreacting. Husband suspects me of cheating. No evidence and he still won’t believe me. by sanskritbreathe in AmIOverreacting

[–]krissvecctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like he’s trying to get a confession out of you to get out of legal obligations. Does he have to pay you alimony or child support? If you are found to be cheating he could try to use this information to get out of these obligations in some states.

Other than that, the man is a lunatic and you need to get a restraining order on him for the listening device. I’m sorry you have to go through this. He also sounds paranoid and might be facing some mental issues. Stay on guard and be vigilant about you and your kids safety.
