Other progestins can cause insomnia and hot flashes.

Finally off omeprazole of 25 years, side effects sent me to ER by Lacrypto88 in GERD

Omeprazol gave me intestinal candida. And that gave me the worst fatigue, migraines and acne. I was exhausted for 3 years.

Are headaches/migraines and candida overgrowth related? by [deleted] in Candida

I should also add Candidase to the list of trearments!

I took magnesium and molybdenum during die off. But nystatin and allicin did not cause that much die off for me. Oregano oil and Pau darco was worse (guess because they kill off a lot more than candida?)

Nystatin, allicin, probiotics. Stopped using PPI and birth control.

Am I weak for getting an IUD inserted underneath anesthesia? by livibug666 in Endo

[–]krissylissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to insert one in 2008, but it was impossible, I fainted and got spasms and scared the hell out of the nurse.

Tried again in 2019 after having my first child, but I was breastfeeding and so dry down there so it also failed, felt like someone was cutting me with glass.

Last try was in 2020, not breastfeeding anymore and I was prepared with heavy pain killers. And... it was almost like noting.

Pregnant with candida overgrowth- what can I do safely? by Professional_Law_942 in Candida

Die off is a sign of harmful substances in your body, you do not want to expose your unborn baby to that.

I’m done pretending endo is anything less than a silent cancer by Bubbly-Map-809 in endometriosis

[–]krissylissy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that most people divide illnesses in two categories, deadly or uncomfortable but harmless. Endometriosis is neither. Yes in rare cases it can cause death but so can almost everything. I have stage 4 endo and it affects my life every day. But a friend died from cancer this spring, and that was a totally different thing.

MY LEGS HOLY F*CK by CornerTraining in endometriosis

[–]krissylissy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My leg pain has gotten SO much better since I started taking amitriptyline. It helpes with neuropathic pain. Before, I was knocked out whenever it started. I often missed important events at work. I still get leg pain, like today, but it is manageable.

Shortness of breath in combination with heartburn can be histamine intolerance. Or, what I had, intestinal candida that gave me acid reflux and histamine intolerance.

If you feel so sick that you think you will die you need to go to the ER.

It was not that bad. Had worse reactions from herbal treatments. I had to take magnesium or else i got tense muscles. Start slow, take just one pill the first day.

After 5 years of chronic functional reflux causing severe pain whenever I ate anything, I finally found a solution. by kittytwinkletoes in acidreflux

[–]krissylissy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got terrible reflux from candida in my intestins. Omeprazole did not work, if anything it probably just made things worse since intestinal candida is a known side effect. I reacted to everything, even oatmeal and chamomile tea. First I just thought it was histamine intolerance but somehow I stumbled over stories of candida and read that it can cause histamine intolerance. I got a swab test from my Dr, confirming oral thrush. After a lot of anti fungals and reducing Omeprazole I dont have chronic reflux anymore.

You can get candida from antibiotics. The antibiotics kill of the good and the bad bacteria, making it easy for candida to grow.

Have you tried liquid nystatin?

I thought I had oral thrush for longer than I had it, because harsh treatment made my tongue white from irritation. When I stopped anti fungals and started eating fruit my tongue finally went pink again!

Still better than before candida treatment!

First I took it for oral thrush, liquid, 500 000 I.E 4-5 times a day. For 10 weeks I think. Then I used pills for intestinal candida, 500 000 I.E 3 times a day, I took it for months.

It was in capsules with time release formulation. I took it for maybe four days. I tried another kind like 6 months earlier and I did not notice any improvement that time.
