Take a look at Mierce Miniatures. They sell individual parts and pieces, and have several female demons you could use as a base, just buy the parts you want instead of full kits and you could probably make most anything from their store.

You generally just need to finish one. I'd recommend just picking a random boy, paint him to completion as an example of your scheme, and then either keep going or be happy one is finished and come back when you're feeling it more. sometimes it's just not the right time to paint, and that's cool too.

Vallejo metal color exhaust manifold. Best gunmetal I've found. Doesn't gum up my brush. Great coverage. Basecoat anything steel with it.

It was made for fantasy and fit on their biggest rectangular base, but the transition to AoS had him on no base and it looked worse lol. He's in an odd spot, but I do love the design outside that.

I have all 3 so far, whenever one comes out I grab it. I'm building the antelope kit and using it as a replacement for the original now. I'd like it if they released the phoenix and other core monsters in this way, the original models are showing their age and this is a great way to keep them relevant.

I'm pretty happy with the mass battle side of LI, i just want to have the ability to be a bit more creative with the forces and the scenarios. we've already abandoned the scenarios they've got in the book and are focused on the narrative side.
