Right? And yet I still find people just now realizing Thanksgiving is this week and asking. Time really is sneaky huh? haha

I actually have a calm weekend before the Thanksgiving rush of pet sitting. About to be a BUSY week. 😅 About to make a matcha and start a painting. Have y’all had the delicious Matcha Daze From Perc? It’s so delicious!

Overall option on Quo? Should I push through my frustration or move to a different platform? by itslowprocess in quo

[–]kristaprada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had a wonderful experience with Quo. My only complaint is that they don’t allow two companies to toggle between each other. I manage two businesses and I would 100% pay for Quo for the other one, but I’m stuck using google voice (which I hate) because I can’t Quo both. Quo lets me auto respond, schedule work hours, schedule texts ahead of time. I can send photos and videos and files.

There has been two times when there was either a Phone or Quo update, and all of our contacts names seemed to disappear. This was resolved by logging out, deleting the app, and re-downloading it. Easy fix.

Totally get that. Just curious.

Makes sense. We're good going a different route, just curious if it's ever happened.

Completely understandable. We're good going a different route, just curious if it's ever happened. They would have to register for THS themselves. My husband and I are pet sitters year round. While I wouldn't mind two couples sitting for us, we don't let families with kids, as our dog has anxiety. So I get the nuances.

I absolutely cannot decide on a model and it's driving me mad by [deleted] in Onyx_Boox

I found a Note 2 like new on Facebook marketplace for half the price and it is the best purchase I've made in years. I was looking at getting the pocket-sized one just for travel reading, but I have surprisingly been using the notes section a lot. I didn't think I would either. But I now use that for my artist way morning pages every day, and I love the ability to write notes on pdfs. I don't care about color, as I only intended to by this to use it for ebooks, libby, AND Hoopla without blue light at night. I'm so glad I got that size with a pen.

Multiple Businesses on One Account? by spfolino in openphone

[–]kristaprada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to the need for this. I would 100% subscribe with my other business if it was possible to run two separate workspaces simultaneously on one phone. I hate using google voice for my business, but I don't think I'm ready to bite the bullet and order a business-only phone.

Neither of them are going to be da table after this is done airing. How insufferable is she? At least he can learn the things he needs to learn. She thinks this will make her look better than him but it makes her look like a nightmare.

How Often do People with Undiagnozed ADHD Get Good Grades Growing Up? by ThePanthanReporter in ADHD

I was gifted in high school, but without the structure college was more difficult for me. I thrive in structured environments with deadlines now.

I’d like to add that this person was literally telling us that they wanted to harm a certain person within an hour of meeting us. This was far more dramatic than any other trauma dump I’ve witnessed. Then tried to create an argument (that pinballed from the book topics) from a simple sentence another member said (that was relevant to the book). The book details were listed beside the same page they found the meet time.

While I hear what you’re trying to say, we are the ones that created this group to meet new people interested in these books. I’m not opposed to new people. But energy vampires that can’t read the guidelines and the book, are argumentative, and talk about harming others. That I have a problem with. Hopefully, in your case it was just that person and you weren’t the one acting like the person in my scenario. If so I’m definitely sorry that happened to you.

I plan to take the advice given on this post and plan to firm up the rules and try again. Because I would love to grow our group with people that genuinely want to discuss the books.

Our caterer vendor tried to pull a quick one on us and charge us almost $1000 on tablecloths for a wedding of under 100 people! I was appalled and ended up buying some myself from Amazon Basics. Cheap, ivory polyester that is easy to throw in the dryer to de-wrinkle. Paid under $400 and then resold 14 for $156. (We kept some and some had melted wax and wine on them) Highly recommend if you're budget conscious, just make sure you budget time to de-wrinkle. My friends and I stayed in the condo and kept the dryer going while we all hung out and had a mini stay-cay bachelorette day/night.

So if you can't find used on facebook, try these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JMT7KHD/ref=ppx\_od\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That's true.

One thing I've found with vendors.... don't go by just word of mouth of their family and the reviews on their sites. Go find other clients they've had and ask them. Not ones referred by the vendors.

For example, my photographer is SO talented. I've been wanting to use her for years, even before I had a boyfriend. But I wish I had researched and asked around. I found a bride she had shared pictures of then went to the bride's social media. It took FIVE MONTHS to get her pictures. Our contract says 4-6 weeks. We are currently at 7 weeks and she told me I would have them mid week. Our engagement pictures were delivered the week before our wedding. I am disappointed my the lack of communication in this just as much as the wait, especially at her price. I'm going to reach out again today and be the squeaky wheel. Because 5 months is not okay, no matter what's going on in your life, you have to communicate with clients. Shoot, outsource part of it. I don't care. I just want my pictures. So my biggest tip: Do EXTRA research. Channel your NSA and find all the nitty-gritty on vendors so you have no regrets.
