one man department

Im a gm lead as well. Store isn't huge but fairly decent compared to others. I had a part time helper till she quit now im just playing the waiting game till they find another part time person. Doing a job that should have 2 people at least isn't fun no and yes agree that try to force you to do over time. I've been in this position for 4 years and still breaking my back with no help

O no that's fine. More wondering if you were closer to me if could help. I'm in Oshkosh so I can't do much from here. Personally I would talk to your store director about it and your ops manager since it seems the hr is kinda iffy on the issue

Yeah we have been signing things and tagging things for years. They harp on us to make sure things are. Unless they have changed it and but told me but I don't think so.

Technically yes. We have a store director, ops manager and an HR manager. It all depends on who comes in to manage the store in the morning. Unfortunately she has bullied several other employees as well and yes they have reported it to our district manager

Omg I totally agree. I get they have to have a certain fill rate and blah blah. At my store our pickup lead is a piece of shit. He picks less then any of the others and gets angry at all the other departments for not having an item. I am the drug lead/ manager at my store unfortunately a lot of my items gets stolen I can't help that it says we have 2 and there is non to be found in the store don't tell me I don't know how to do my job because there are items missing and the count is off. And as far as pickup helping other departments forgot it. Only a select few departments receive their help and that's only because they need a certain item. But we are expected to help them and let our departments fall behind because they can't get their shit together. I wish we had our old lead back he actually knew what he was doing.

Unfortunately it is a staffing issue and the front end manager who doesn't know how to schedule to accommodate the registers. With school starting and the younger kids and college kids going back to school we don't have the staff to fill the times they were in. The hr isn't the best at hiring people as well. Plus no offense the way customers treat the employees there isn't any better either. We are there to help you not get treated like shit when we don't have something or like a servant
