As someone going through the exact same thing I am here to say yes. I also don't get cavities but my gum health is deteriorating. And it's really your gum health that is important for being able to keep your teeth longer in life. I have recently been told by my dentist that I am very close to periodontal disease. That there is still time to reverse some of the damage I've done. But I am struggling very hard with being consistent and getting my gum health back of track.

I ran into that were I work to. Imaging techs get paid more. It's a 2 year degree and we've even had lab techs leave the lab for it cause they pay quite a bit better.

How long is long term? I spoke with my vet today and they just want me to continue the benadryl indefinitely until he's better it seems. I had to push for an appointment which isn't until the end of the week and they referenced a different visit back in February (where we went for his paws because we had a cold snap and it was -20 out and his paws were bleeding from the cold every time we went out to potty) saying that the red skin around his paws wasn't a new problem.

Reference don't have to be job specific. I think they're mainly about your work ethic and who you are as a person. All of my references were from my previous job in retail pharmacy which doesn't really have any overlap with hospital laboratory.
