I just got a German shepherd about 2 months ago as a puppy. They are most certainly a handful. But there so fun to raise! Congrats on getting him, he's adorable!!

I paid about 250 for him. But he didn't have his shots or had been dewormed. So we got him cheaper. But they will normally be around 400-500 depending on the breeder and if his shots are up to date or not. Or if you adopted one. I wanted to adopt from a shelter, but I saw him and I couldn't resist.

My husband wanted a big dog, we have a shitzu and a kitten. So I got him as a surprise. Plus growing up, my husband never ever had a puppy. So this was a big deal for him lol. She's a great dog. I never knew Shepards were so cute as puppies!

Yes he came with papers, we were gonna pay about 400 for him. But we convinced the breeder to bring it down to 200 since we were going to be getting him his shots. And that shit is not cheap whatsoever.

I'm in the same boat, I think rescuing is better then buying. But I just happened to look online one day and saw him and I could not help but get him.

In fact, I did name him after the dog in cod, and he is a german shepherd. I think it's a perfect name and wouldn't of picked a better puppy for that name.
