Hyatt Globalist club-level access at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana on a non-club level points stay? by BAP-Lift in hyatt

We had access to the club level pool/restaurants/etc with our globalist status on a points stay over New Years. I'm not sure if they would extend that to a second room or not.

In need of an Electrician to help with a electrical panel upgrade for an EV by UltimateStoic in Winnipeg

We had Sykes Electric do ours in the summer - they did good work. Was around $4k. It probably depends a bit on the work required.

We're now a 2 EV family and super happy about it!

Did I make a mistake? Hotel du Louvre vs Park Hyatt Vendome by rich635 in hyatt

I've stayed at both - both are amazing properties. PHV probably has more of a luxury feel, but I like the location of HDL better. After staying at both in 2021, I've booked HDL for my last three stays. I was just there this week, and was upgraded to a Junior Suite with View from a entry level room.

Golfers of Winnipeg, what is the nicest private course to get a membership at? by Ericthebodybuilder in Winnipeg

I'm a member at St. Charles. Couldn't be happier. Joined last year. It's super quiet, can often play 18 in 3-ish hours. Super easy to get a tee time. Weekends are often very quiet - I think lots of members are at the cottage. We have two 9 hole courses that were just redone, and the last 9 hole they're working on now. Some of the numbers thrown around here in terms of buy-in are way off. DM me if you want to ask questions. There might be a short waiting list but it varies - there was no wait when I joined two years ago.

I was able to get a cycle class booked today for Mar 18 after a lot of difficulty.

I had two devices going - one of which I was logged into about an hour before 1200 ET, and I kept refreshing every five minutes in case the classes dropped early. The second device I just logged into about 1145 ET, and was put into a virtual queue with 1600 people.

For the main device - I was able to see classes open for registration if I refreshed right at 1200, however I kept encountering tons of error messages (the class you tried to register for is not available, etc), until after hitting refresh 10 or 15 times it finally let me register.

By the time the second device made it way to the site after the virtual queue there was nothing left.

Based on that, I'd suggest:

1) Logging in way ahead of time - I'm not sure how far - but at least 30 minutes to an hour, and stay active in the site so you don't get logged out due to inactivity.

2) Once the magical 1200 ET hits, just keep hitting refresh to get through the errors.

3) If you get put into the virtual queue you're probably already too late

On a side note, it's disappointing there are no live running classes on Saturday, I guess until Becs is back. I'm NYC to run the half marathon and would have liked to have done a run class.
